ghost-angel
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store That killed an already dying budget for the month. I've been waiting for this since GenCon. It was totally worth it.

gojira
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Yeah, le sigh, I just spend some extra money this month too. Maybe I'll wait 3 days and order it in February, thus pretending it'll go on next months budget.
Shadowsoul
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Will UFH be released in PDF format in the foreseeable future?
Steve Long
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Yes, depending on one's definition of "foreseeable." We're still working with freelance art directors right now and I'm not going to pester them for every little thing all the time. We'll probably save tasks like assembling PDFs for when we have a full-timer in place once more.
Lord Mhoram
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Mine is ordered. tesuji
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Urban Fantasy Hero will be here in the morning' date=' so it's now in the store.[/quote'] being forgettful right now - when will the pdf be available? thanks
Steve Long
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Probably not for awhile, since we're still working with freelance art director folks at this point. Preparing PDFs is something we'll probably save for whoever we end up working with full-time.
bubba smith
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store meaning no disrespect mr long, but wouldn't the assistant art director become acting art director following mr. matthews passing, making approving the books HIS responsibility or did he decline? Lord Liaden
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store There was no "assistant art director" prior to Andy's passing. When Allen Thomas was "Assistant Line Developer" his duties included supplementing Andy in laying out books, but after Allen left he wasn't replaced. Since their unfortunate loss Hero Games has hired several freelancers to work on specific books that were pending for layout, until the company settles on a permanent replacement for Andy. Steve Long
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Just to confirm -- there was no "Assistant Art Director." If there had been, then yes, whoever that was would have taken over.

Lord Liaden
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store I found it for you, Thia, using the "Fantasy HERO" search filter: https://www.herogames.com/viewItem.htm?itemID=235992 The cover's difficult to make out, but if it's what I think it is, it's rather cool. Steve Long
Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Yes, that's the cover. It's got a big dude with a shotgun and one of those commando caps, and a woman who I think is supposed to have some mystic powers (she's wearing a red cape, that's a dead giveaway!!! ) and has a pistol and IIRC a knife. They're in an alley being surrounded by some not-too-friendly werewolves. My informal title for the piece is "Who Let The Dogs Out?"
