Re: Danger Rooms Hey Fox1, I too would like to add my vote for posting your program. I used to roll up Danger Room charts (using Champs 3) for each of my PC's. I'd run my characters through them using the solo rules (i.e. random rolls to see what popped up next). I still have those pages with the rolled up lists somewhere in my gaming stuff.

Re: Speedster and Metamorphs:which are you looking forward to most? I definitely want/need BOTH of them. These are probably my two weakest char-types, when it comes to building powers. It's also good to see other people's ideas regarding different powerbuilds.

Re: Character fiction: Shadows Of Things Past Thanks for the response Greymankle. I've been away from 'Net access until today, so I didn't know anyone else had read this. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Her background sort of wrote itself, actually. I knew that she was French, on one side; but at the same time she had to end up being based in the U.S. I made her father a diplomat and voila, she could grow up in NYC and France. When coming up with her middle name I didn't like any of the other French names I found. As I was scoping the names websites I saw Tatiana and said to myself, "that's her middle name." Now I had to have a reason for a Russian middle name. I decided to make her mother a defecting prima ballerina. Who else would a world-traveling diplomat fall in love with? At the time, it also left a major plot hook (I had no idea at that point that her parents were going to die). The Russians weren't going to let one of their premier citizens just leave, were they? Then, when I had her 'port into her dad's office, I just decided that she dropped in on a clandestine meeting with questionable people. This led to them being from VIPER, using Henri's position to further their evil plans. The rest of the story just flowed from there. As I said, most of it didn't exist when I started. As for any more writing: there isn't anything right now, but I have thought about revising and expanding this story into a novella, maybe. Just need to come up with a bit more story, and find the free time. Maybe a bit more arm-twisting might convince me.

Re: Hero Machine Thread Thanks greymankle. This was done on HM1. Haven't broken done and bought 2 yet. And as for stats (and some character fiction) you can look here . If you read the other thread, please post your comments there. I'd like to hear your opinion.

Re: Hero Machine Thread I've only used HM for one character pic. The character is a shadow-manipulating martial artist named Silhouette. She was to be in a PbP game that never materialized.

Re: Clix mod challenge How about Silhouette? She's a PC for a PBEM game that never happened. I wrote a short story about her in this thread. She's a shadow-manipulating teleporter, with some martial arts and a few other skills. Anyway, here she is.
