The morning my family was readying to leave for vacation, my youngest turned down my request to help finish off the chocolate cake she had made a few days before.
 
Her:  I haven't had breakfast yet.  You can't eat cake for breakfast.
Me:  I have three words for you:  Va-Ca-Tion.  (pause)  And before you point out that is just one word, I'd like to point out that my brain is already on Va-Ca-Tion.

She actually laughed at a pun! Took me 15 years to get that reaction from her!

Looking forward to the 6th Avengers film, Avengers vs. Squadron Sinister and Warner Brothers Legal Department.

Cinematic Ultron has been a polarizing villain for a lot of people. Some fans really wanted a cold, menacing, "robotic" Ultron more reminiscent of the comics. Despite that being a type of villain we've seen literally thousands of times before... and complained about in other Marvel movies. I'm one of those who likes the sarcastic, arrogant, childish Ultron from the movie. It's a fresh take that interested and entertained me more.

In Iron Man 2, Coulson mentions at some point that he has to go deal with something out west, i.e. Mjolnir.

Maybe that's the whole point... a Civil War amongst the nerds, so to speak.

Honestly I can't wait for CA:CW. It has so much hype, both good and bad that it will be interesting, just to have it released--this is what it is.

I actually enjoy it when superhero comics are somewhat rooted in the real world to a degree. I want to see the effects of real-world politics on superhero activity and how the presence of superheroes would have an effect on government policy. It makes sense to me.
 
I always found the Mutant Registration Act to be the most realistic reaction a government would have to the presence of superheroes, and always wondered why they didn't extend that to every powered human in the Marvel Universe. Then they did it, or at least, tried to do it, in Civil War. About damned time.
 
I honestly think a lot of people's problem with Civil War stems not from the dissection of beloved (but tired) superhero tropes, but because fans favorite heroes were battling against one another, instead of the established villains. They didn't know who to root for. Depending on their political bent, they may disagree with the stance of their favorite super. Someone who is a staunch lover of freedom and who would agree with Captain America but Iron man happens to be their favorite hero...oops. Now we have fan-based angst.
 
To me, that BRILLIANT. To some, it's probably really annoying. I get that. I just don't agree that it sucked.

At the very least, I'm going to create a fresh back-up of my current operating system before I consider it; I want to be prepared in the event the Windows 10 "upgrade" f**ks something up.

I remember when 4gb of ram was a luxury!

Cue the handbasket jokes.
