Here is a (modified for my campaign universe) Gazelle-Class Close Escort that my Star Hero players have been cruising around in.  I created a Hero Designer template which combines Vehicle and Computer Characteristics in order to avoid needing a separate write-up for each.

correct.. theres some additional 5E material, but its mostly working notes and draft stuff that never saw publication in any form
I gave Marc everything we had that I know of, Don Mckinney and Andy Staples also did fixed a bunch of templates and fixed the blank references
to various packages from the Star Hero books. I wish I could be more specific, but I was left out of the loop on a lot of it. I submitted all the material I had complete or not, I
made sure Marc had all the Hero Designer files[hdp, hdc, hdt] wrote a new intro and dedication. and that was about it

As my injury has prevented me from pursuing my crusade against the criminal element of the city, I have no choice but to recruit a team of operatives to fight for me.

Kenji, a student of my old sensei, inspired this as such he will be on the team, He has taken the ops name of Shinobi. I worry about his morality as he has little problem with killing his opponents, but hopefully his honor will keep him in check. He brings Espianage and close combat skills to the team

Foxy: She has been my partnet for 12 years, and while she has left for college, with my injuries she has insisted on returning to the city of shadows. I regret that she will not finish her education but I suspect that she has been bored, knowing more than her instructors on how criminal justice actualy works will do that. Brings many investigative skills, as well experience in dealing with the city.

The Surgeon: He has been in my city hunting for the last 6 months, he will come as to him the city is dying. His marksman and hunting skills will be almost as valuable to the team as his medical experience.

Lazarus: For some reason Lazarus has developed a healing factor that seems capable of healing him in minutes of any damage. He has searched for a hundred years for his wife's killer. I will attempt to help him in his quest, at the cost of him protecting my city. He is a good shot, and his resiliance will be invaluable.

Brickhouse: He is built like one, that is for sure. His story is a sad one, having his sister treated that way...Well anyways, he has done his time in prision, got released do in part to some strings I pulled, some because of his sisters well being, and good behavior. He was attacked recently after which he seems to have developed some super human abilities (Grade 40 Str, Bullet Proof Invulnerability). His superhuman abilities as well as his mechanic skills will be quite usefull.

I have aranged for a new Fox Den to be created on the harbor in an old warehouse. Various vehicles will also be made available to them.

I have sent the last three a note to get them to all meet at the warehouse. Depending on how things go my city will be safe.

shadowcat1313 reacted to Foxiekins in CALDERA Autofire System...
Note that this uses a multiplier I came up with for the Autofire Advantage... Defining Margin of Success as the difference between your roll and your target, for a successfull roll, then Autofire requires a Margin of Success of 2 full points for each extra shot that hits, up to the number of shots in the Autofire burst...

The multiplier's name is "Low Recoil", and changes this to a Margin of Success of 1 point for each extra shot that hits, and doubles the value of the Autofire Advantage...

***THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL PART OF THE HERO SYSTEM***

That said, here's what I did with it...

CALDERA Pistol: 1d6+1 RKA vs ED (3 Shot Autofire, Low Recoil; +1/2) (4 clips of 32 Charges +1/2) (40 Active), (OAF -1) (Real Weapon -1/4) (Beam -1/4); Real Cost = 16

    CALDERA Carbine: 1d6+1 RKA vs ED (5 Shot Autofire, Low Recoil; +1) (4 clips of 64 Charges +3/4) (55 Active), (OAF -1) (Real Weapon -1/4) (Beam -1/4); plus 2 Range Skill Levels (6 Active), (OAF -1) (Two-Handed -1/2); Real Cost = 22 + 2 = 24

    CALDERA Rifle: 1d6+1 RKA vs ED (10 Shot Autofire, Low Recoil; +2) (4 clips of 125 Charges +1) (80 Active), (OAF -1) (Real Weapon -1/4) (Beam -1/4) (Two-Handed -1/2); plus 4 Range Skill Levels (12 Active), (OAF -1) (Two-Handed -1/2); Real Cost = 27 + 5 = 32

Used by paratroopers during the 22nd Century, CALDERA is an acronym standing for Cartridge Action Laser, Directed Energy Ranger Armament. The heart of the system is its laser cartridge, developed at the end of the 21st Century by scientists of the North American Federation. It is composed of a metastable compound, held within a transparent, heat-resistant, plastic matrix shaped into cylinders 9mm across and 60mm long. Unfired cartridges are a milky-white translucent color, with reflective coatings on each end. A box magazine fits into the top of the pistol, while the carbine and rifle use drum magazines fitting underneath. None of these weapons have appreciable recoil, and all are capable of automatic fire and use the same ammo, although at differing fire rates. Cooling occurs by the ejection of spent cartridges to get rid of most of their heat, with liquid nitrogen absorbing the rest and providing gas pressure to drive the weapon's action. Cartridges are fired by a laser pulse from the rear of the chamber. This burns through a microscopic spot in the rear reflective coating, and causes the metastable compound to break down into a lasing medium. The firing laser, a low-powered semiconductor unit, is tuned to the same frequency the cartridge medium lases at. When the intensity reaches a maximum, the front reflective coating breaks down and the laser pulse emerges from the weapon.
