  2. Re: Shapeshifter : The Hawk-whale strategy Actually, Multiform takes a half-phase to change from any one from to any other. You need an the Instant Change adder to make it a Zero-phase action.
  3. Re: Shapeshifter : The Hawk-whale strategy I would allow it. It's a classic metamorph trick. Beast Boy, the Vision and Hank Pym do this sort of thing it all the time. There are rules for increasing size/mass during a move through, but I'm not sure where they are in the 6E books In 5E I believe they are covered in the Combat Handbook (p137), which I beleive are reprinted from the Champions main book. I think it was also covered in the Ultimate Metamorph... You have to make sure he has his powers done correctly to allow for it though (the multiform transformation needs to be fast enough, for example, or he needs to fly high enough). Of course, he's going to probably end up taking a lot of damage doing this, so I hope the whale form is tough enough to take it.

  5. Re: Regenerating teeth Frankly, I'm not sure I've ever played ANY character with a cavity. I may have brought up brushing my teeth or flossing once or twice while playing a particularly OCD character, but otherwise I doub't Ive ever mentioned it in game. Generally tooth care is such a banal detail that it just never really comes up. It's one of those "assumed to be done" things.. much like I rarely mention when my character has to use the bathroom...

  8. Re: Somebody needs to write this villain up now! You should know better than to eat while reading the Hero Forums! One never knows when Mightybec might strike...
  9. Re: Somebody needs to write this villain up now! It's legal. You can check out the write up of hydras in the Bestiary. Mind you, it's a build that's usually reserved for guys with more than one head... or at least more than one personality/spirit in their body. So, not sure that it would actually be appropriate for this guy.
  10. Re: Somebody needs to write this villain up now! ... do I have the heart to point out that it was planned as a trilogy?
  11. Re: Somebody needs to write this villain up now! It's not my scan, so not 100% sure but I think it's from: http://www.comicvine.com/wonder-woman-album-/37-174114/
  12. Re: Somebody needs to write this villain up now! And the equipment doubling rules Huh? The Bracers/Gauntlets of Victory were called the Bracelets of Submission until the Crisis. Wonder Woman's bondage based past is well documented
  13. Re: Linguistic Assitance On Building A Japanes Acronym Well, the Japanese word is supekutoru and I only know that because of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYKZ_uJ6wbA As for coming up with a bunch of Japanese words that just happen to have something to do with science police, make any kind of sense when put next to each other and spell out the word SPECTRUM.... well...good luck!
  14. Re: Analyze Structure vs KS Architecture Need more info. Is there anything else they want to know other than the example of identifying load bearing walls? Because the answer will be quite different if their only concern is where they should or should not punch/blast/explode/whatever.... For example, if they are building a brick that wants to do things like yank wires or pipes out of the walls for special attacks or do the comic book stunt of lifting a building without damaging it, well, those are potentially very different skills.

  16. Re: Pixar's the Incredibles Oh yeah, it's common that speedsters have some kind of extra protection in their build so that they don't die from random impacts. Dash seems to go a bit beyond the norm though. In one scene he falls a great distance after catapulting him self into the air at super speeds. He lands on a metal vehicle that is also moving really fast in the opposite direction. Not only is he not hurt, he barely registers what just happened to him.
  17. Re: Hand Attack Power + Martial Arts In general, damage from a HA can be added to MA attacks that do normal damage. The math get's a bit tricky once we are talking about an advantaged HA... However... What is the SFX of the Hand Attack MP? What is the character MA style and the SFX of the Defensive Strike? That may help us determine if it is compatible with the SFX of the characters Martial Arts. A +4d6 HA defined as having an iron hard fist will not add to the damage of a Defensive Strike defined as some sort of kick. Similarly, a character with a steel toed boot hand attack gets no benefit to a martial arts maneuver defined as a head butt. Weapons generally require an appropriate Weapon Element be purchased for the characters martial arts, which depending on style and GM preference may not even be possible. Karate, for example, has many weapon elements. Wrestling does not.. well, unless it's Pro Wrestling
  18. Re: How would you build... kinda depends on how you build superboy Of course, you can always make the KA an avad/nnd with does body
  19. Re: Pixar's the Incredibles Yeah, they pretty much always go together and have gone together since Hugo Donner. Danger Sense, on the other hand, is pretty uncommon in a brick. That detail was also hiighted on the DVD extras and I THINK it was mentioned during the commentry. It should also be notd that Violet may have some kind of flight/tk/anti-grav power, since she can seemingly levitate stuff inside her bubbles. And Dash arguably has some degree of super toughness, considering the stuff that happens to him yet doesn't really seem to hurt (i hink that's on the DVD too).
