Re: Hero System Bestiary: How to build an armadillo? That's what I was going to ask. If an armadillo is going to be a significant challenge to your PCs, "building" one might be worth the hassle. Maybe for an animal follower of one of your PCs. But again, if it's not going to be a danger to the foes, why bother? Now, your Dire Armadillo might be a different matter. Don't forget the Leprosy.

Our local gaming store probably doesn't have that problem, since of the five employees, three of them are women. And they are gamers. I was talking with one of them about our respective WoW characters while she was painting some Warmachines figures. I've discussed various games and geeky stuff with the others (and the guys too).

Re: Characters from Autoduel Champions SJ Games did do a GURPS Autoduel supplement, and even a 2nd edition in 96. There is and extensive AADA Road Atlas and Survival Guide, and a section on available technology.

Re: Reloading a revolver It depends on the revolver. Modern double action revolvers have the swing-out cylinders that you can reload fairly quickly. Old-west single action revolvers, even with the cartridges you do one at a time. Poke the old cartridge out slip in a new one, flip to the next hole. Goes fairly quickly, but I would still say 3 or 4 phases total. And then there are the ones like bend in half like the Smith & Wesson No 3 (Also variations Schofield or Russian) and the Merwin-Hulbert where you can reload to whole cylinder at once. But they were fairly rare. Cap and ball percussion revolvers, some of them you can replace the cylinder fairly easy, some of them it's a major evolution. So it depends on the model. Like in "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". When he hears the guys with spurs in the hallway and has to put his pistol back together real quick. That's a cartridge revolver but it's a conversion of a percussion revolver.

Re: building 6th edition power suits If it's an "only change at base" thing, I wouldn't let them take an extra time limitation too. Unless they are in combat at their base pretty frequently.

Re: A 1960's Batman for a serious Champions game So, Dick Grayson's mind snapped when his parents got killed and he started manifesting "The Batman". Bruce Wayne is real, and is really Dick's ward, but he is not The Batman, and knows nothing about it. Dick thinks that Bruce is just really good at compartmentalizing, so he doesn't bring it up when they are not in costume either.
