  2. Re: Stargate weapons 5d6 HA is fine, you just need to make sure the staff has a strength minimum...say 15 STR...so a 20 STR guy is only going to do 6d6 normal damage. Tim

Re: Hellboy Write-up Hmmm...his ED for purposes of "Immune to Fire" doesn't seem high enough IMHO...that blast that Liz let off, the chain of grenades...I'd make it more like: +30 ED, Only vs Fire/Heat/Electricity, Hardend, Resistent. That would give him a total of 48 defense vs these attacks...any thoughts on how much power was released by the chain of grenades or when Liz let loose and took out all the demon dogs? Liz's explosion...5d6 RKA, no Range, AE: Radius? Grenades: 4d6 RKA explosion, Range based on strength, but how to simulate being able to throw one or multiple...6 shot Autofire? Tim

Former weak/annoying/low powered villain suddenly gets a HUGE power boost...how did this happen...will it happen to others? They show up to fight him and he's tough! 2.) Bizarre accident/villain action/alien energy whatever causes all our supers to switch powers...roleplay learning a new powerset, uncertainty, mistakes etc. Tim

  13. For supers, I definitely prefer higher points. Specifically I prefer the new "standard hero" at 350 pts. Previously on the 250 pt standard, I would have to severely limit and cram my character concept into a small pool of points...I'd have cool character ideas that I just couldn't make work. I find that with 350 points, I don't have to come up with cheesy limitations or short myself on skills to fit my character under the point limit. My 350 pt heroes are not any more powerful than my 250 pt heroes, but they are more rounded and much more fun to play. Tim

    ok here's my shot Rope and grapple +5 to Climbing skill (10 pts) +1/2 Useable by other simultaneously -1 OAF: Rope and Grapple -1.5 1 Recoverable Charge -.5 Extra Time: Full Phase -.25 Gestures (Swing rope and grapple) -.25 Requires a DEX roll (to set grapple) 3 REAL/15 ACTIVE - Rope and Grapple +5 to Climbing skill ADVANTAGES: Useable by other simultaneously(+0.5) LIMITATIONS: OAF: Rope and Grapple(-1), 1 Recoverable Charge(-1.5), Extra Time: Full Phase (Set Grapple)(-0.5), Gestures (Swing rope)(-0.25), Requires a DEX roll (to set grapple only, not each time)(-0.25) I suppose you could add an Entangle that would simulate being able to tie someone up with the rope...any other thoughts?   17. How about setting the Dispel on a Trigger? Then you could do away with the Persistent, and have it "go off" when ever the condition happened "Teleport attempt within range" Tim

Wow I just picked up my 5 copies () on Tuesday night...drove like crazy to make it before my FLUBS closed...I even called the guy to ask him to stay open til 7:10pm...gotta love those FLUBS, great store! Plus, all new gaming stuff is always 20% off! ;D This thing is a BEAST! Already skimmed it and boy does it look good...time to gear up for FH! Tim
