I don't know about anyone else but I never interpreted the "Range" Adders in Danger Sense as meaning that you otherwise couldn't detect a danger from faraway. I always interpreted it as meaning you could detect danger to someone OTHER THAN YOURSELF within the defined area.

Lucius got a reaction from Killer Shrike in Corruption by dark powers?
Now I find myself pondering a fantasy setting in which an insidious Godlike being whispers into peoples minds when they spend time in the light. It would influence people to fear the darkness, to be more prone to anger and paranoia especially about the darkness, and eventually drive them to wanting to dispel darkness whenever possible and attack those who dwell in darkness. Those affected could recover from minor exposure by spending a lot of time in darkness, and a but more effect could be countered by magic, but one could be corrupted beyond salvation.

Now available from QuestGuard, the land's leader in merit based security - The Fangberry Bush, the fastest growing trend in security landscaping! Looking for a way to protect your wizard's tower or hermit's cave from wandering monsters like annoying door to door solicitors or even more annoying clueless adventurers? Wondering how to prepare for possible misguided mobs of local peasants with pitchforks? Or have you just granted an entire castle's residents, especially the beautiful princess, the deepest and most restful sleep of their lives and want to make sure no one disturbs their slumber - ever?

Upon entering the All but Impassable(tm) area an intruder must make a STR roll at -1 to even force a way in. In the process, they suffer two 1d6 Killing Attacks that are double Penetrating and with +4 STUN Multiplier from the Thorns of Legendary Viciousness(tm) and the STUN damage adds together to make this hedge a truly Stunning addition to any enchanted garden. To avoid backing out - possibly right into an already-passed bush if you have made the hedge several meters thick - the intruder must roll against EGO or CON, again at a -1. This process must be repeated for every hex entered, so a swiftly moving intruder is simply shredded that much faster if the thicket is thick enough. Intruders have been known to stop in terror and confusion, afraid to move until the proprietor or a security patrol arrives to deal with them!

Ranged Feint:  (Total: 24 Active Cost, 6 Real Cost) Telekinesis (15 STR), Attack Versus Alternate Defense (Resist with INT not STR; +0) (24 Active Points); Limited Power Cannot damage, move target etc. - only to impose "Grab" penalties on target (-1), Requires A Roll (Skill roll, -1 per 20 Active Points modifier; Jammed; -3/4), Only Works On Limited Types Of Objects Limited Group of Objects (opponents at range; -1/2), Restrainable (-1/2), Conditional Power Can be negated by Tactics, Analyze, or Danger Sense roll (-1/4), Variable Limitations (requires -1/2 worth of Limitations; As per weapon used (charges, etc); -1/4) (Real Cost: 6)
The warrior expends a half phase attack action and makes a Skill roll (when this ability is bought select an appropriate Skill such as Tactics or Power Skill: Gunplay) to make a feint that will confuse and mislead an opponent. Mechanically this resolves like a 15 STR Telekinetic Grab against the target's INT rather than STR. The target is at half OCV and half DCV until the warrior's next phase ends. The target also gets to roll Tactics, Danger Sense, or an appropriate Analyze, to negate this ability.
