  1. Okay... to continue... I'm building a character from AC who has Major Transform (Severe) from normal to Berserker... This gives +10 STR, +1 Con, -2 Int, -2 Ego, +1 Spd, +2 End. (33 pts) Plus Automaton Power Takes no Stun (60 pts) Plus some complications... Does this mean the character must get 2x the Targets Body +93 Points to transform them???
  2. I have some characters I'm converting from old AC adventures into 6e. I'm trying to recall if a characters Leap used to be based off of their Strength and so they would have to have Leaping in the newest incarnation of the game? What about Swimming??
  3. This is another reference book I am unfamiliar with. I've seen reference to Ultimate Speedster and Ultimate Metamorph in recent posts, but have never heard of these books... are they 5th Edition or 6th?
  4. What about just building a Barrier around the town, no one gets in or out? Add things to stop heroes from teleporting in to rescue etc. The Inhumans were trapped in an unbreakable, opaque sphere at one time, I don't recall how they got out, likely from Blackbolt speaking...
  5. From the discussions around Parkour, as GM's, how often do you create new Talents within your games? One of the players in my game has "Parkour" but we use the Acrobatics, Breakfall and Climbing skills instead of creating a new "Super Skill".
  6. I played many moons ago in 4th edition and earlier, dropped out over Fusion and 5th Edition, came back with Champions Complete. Been playing catch-up ever since. I now have PDF's of 6E1&2, and am currently running a game again (Yay). I sometimes revert to old 4th rules, which generally isn't a problem but can occasionally be one. Thanks for all the comments and clarifications from all of you!
  7. If I might add... There is a scenario from Adventurers Club #15 called No More Mr Nice Guy, which may give you some ideas on how to introduce your Main Villain...
  8. Can you provide the page reference for this?
  9. In the above examples, can a Ninja use a Martial Disarm to gain this effect? Perhaps with a whip to simulate the TP, make it an agility factor which would favour the Ninja?
  10. And HM beats me to the post...
  11. Hello Champions Complete P 211 has both Questionite Claws and a Questionite Shield. The claws could be written up/converted to a sword... HKA 1d6 (Plus STR), Armour Piercing (+1/4), Penetrating (x2, +1), Reduced Endurance (0 End, +1/2) 41 Active Points Real cost 41 CP
  12. I feel your pain, I too am getting back into Champions from a long time hiatus from it. I can't believe the things I've forgotten about and it feels like my nose is in the rule book more than the game... That being said, I've found these boards to be very helpful to me over the last few months. I'm running a game where the heroes start out as science geeks and then gain powers. we've been playing on/off for 4 months and they still don't have powers... but everyone is enjoying the game, so that's the best part!!
  13. This could become a very expensive skills based character. I'm not familiar with HSPG I & II. Could you redefine the Perks here?
  14. I like the concept of the character as well, I just wonder how the players will make the connection between his vastly growing power base.
  15. If something is built as a focus (OIF IIF) doesn't that make it immune to either form of grabbing it away?
  16. Currently I'm using Viper, but will introduce the old Genocide when powers start to manifest...
  17. The current Grayson run is interesting as well
  18. What about a mobile base built into the back of an 18 wheeler? Constantly on the prowl, easy to hide in plain sight...
  19. Dr Midnite, who could see in the dark, didn't he use darkness pellets??
  20. What about a Darkness Field, for escaping the villains?
  21. You might not want to ask them... The main Villain in JJ is a mind controlling fellow...
