  1. I was going to go with an Oregon Coastal Island version and then noted it wasn't available! So South Carolina then, grrrr. I like the mixing of stuff from other cities and while going with the dimensional escape plan, we could also go with a mad scientist wanting to steal landmarks and messing up a bit. Hmm, maybe a mad scientist in another dimension and he actually sent it all here?
  2. My mom caused a lot of insanity in her last years.
  3. I was very saddened to hear the news. He was a good man.
  4. While waiting on responses to sent resumes I have been getting a couple projects done. Made a riser for the couch though need to make a pair of drawers for it and then got it in my head to make an extra stair for the loft.e lo The loft is barely big enough for the mattress, so this make it possible for my wife to have a place to put books on her side of the bed. Will probably make a nightstand sort of thing for her side. At Ikea, found this doll house that will work for my side of the bed.
  5. Michael, at least you're in a good city for doing gluten free.
  6. I did the taxes this week. Procrastination was quite a hurdle this year. Rain hasn't been too heavy up here near Seattle for us, maybe because we're a little east.
  7. You need shorter people in your neighborhood. Perhaps kneecap the ones complaining?
  8. This last time was the first time I'd ever got to the "interview" stage. Only once before actually had to go to a court house.
  9. I usually make enough dough for several days worth of pizza, but I often had people over. The dough was a couple days, but the actual pizza making, 20 minutes each.
  10. Back home for a week after driving out to Denver & Utah for a near three week road trip. Next week I get to try out Jury duty perhaps. It will be a first since I have only once had to wait in the Jury selection room when I was 19 and everytime since, I've been excused the day before, or had a business trip that wound up canceling it. Immediately after, I'll be driving a friend's RV down to Kanab and flying back.
  11. Point. Or even from some other coupling over the last 26 years. (Not sure if they said when he went to MIT, etc...)
  12. Thought she was killed by him? Of course, once shot we don't see her anymore and at least in the comics she's got a bunch of medical knowledge.
  13. It's been awhile since I've gone to a Con to run. (Holy crap, 2008...) Stuff I'm bringing to Genghis Con: Couple totes of Lego for the Lego Hero game Binder with characters and printouts of game materials Laptop and Wacom tablet Camera gear (Mainly because I'll be doing some photo stuff to and from) Dice Debating if I'm bringing the gaming mat & picking up pens. Lego will be the main focus in one game and the second game can use Lego for representation purposes. Food of an easily snacked nature, water bottle, packs of Emergency, and the usual supply of vitamins.
  14. We should get crows to help out. They'd probably work for peanut butter filled pretzels.
  15. Catching up in Netflix: Agents of Shield, Ash vs The Evil Dead, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
  16. Definitely a lot of stuff in the show is derived from comics and other shows as well. I get the Spider-Man & Black Cat vibe along with a lot of the characters you can find in other sources. Cheesy and formulaic, but done with love for the source it seems. Pretty sure one of the powers that Ladybug & Cat Noir get from the Kwami is Hypnotic Disguise, just like Clark Kent and his glasses.
  17. Just wondering if anyone else has looked at this show. (Currently season 1 is on Netflix)I'm only in around episode 8, but I'll have to say the supervillains monologues are quite entertaining. Also the dangers of putting all your points into an OAF. It's pretty fluffy and very anime influenced, but it's got some charm.
  18. I used to use one for my socks while growing up. Though the soap my grandmother made had a decent lye component, so that would probably cause worse internal issues than a tide pod.
  19. I was more concerned for a bit since we're close to a couple Rattlesnake named landmarks, but that ridge is quite a ways from Fall City. (Though I plan to be driving that route in February) Hopefully they can help those people out in the slide area.
