    Also the air crew, the loaders, air traffic, everyone in the command module, most folks on the launch platform, anybody who wonders why Fury shot down one of their own, in public sight...etc...

    Sure, sure...and the locals have a regular girl, and those fellas have to hire local talent. Sounds good, but if they came all this way...it was to make more than they spend I figure... To turn things around, if Primus could operate on your soil, would our current election still be funny? Or would there be a touch of terror in there?

    Sure, just a little bit of both....I have "issues" with the idea of extra national interference in general. I figure folks should run their own affairs (mostly). And I don't see how corrupt politicos from a distant land would be preferable to the home grown ones..

    It's not perfect, but nobody laughs off 41 million ...might set a "good example"..?

    Well...in part I think is that the movie universe is built with the idea that violence is a dangerous business, and that means people need to be shown being killed and injured. You don't want to take out a hero, so villians, and civilians have to do. Sort of an unstated "don't try this at home" message...

    One possable answer is that they are there to take the fall. Payne is smart enough to know that stuff floats to the surface, so he brings in "Super Mercinaries" to frame. And that is how he falls...it's Always the" cover up". As things go on clues start popping up, and the "not Evil" members of his own team will likely turn, even if passively by leaving extra clues for the heroes...?
