When using TK with the "Fine Control" adder (+10 pts) how are advantages costed? For example, if TKman has Str 10 TK with Fine Control, and wants to reduce the endurance cost to zero, does it cost as: TK Str=10 is 15 points, Fine Control is +10 for 25 points, for reduced endurance to zero (+1/2) is an extra 12 points for a total cost of 37; or: TK is 15 points, +7 points for zero endurance, +10 points for fine control for a total cost of 32 points?

Re: How to organise space But Star Trek was not consistent. In other episodes, there was not such a long time delay. It was "plot driven" in that episode. Also, that episode had several things mentioned that do not fit with the "canon." The previous war was the "Earth-Romulan War"; Enterprise was an ship of "United Earth" (that is mentioned in one other episode, the first of the ST time travel ones); and the discussion of how long the message would take was relevant to how long it would take "Federation Military Forces" to respond.

I am making a character who has massive scarring which reduces his/her (haven't decided gender yet) COM to 2. But when wearing costume, almost no exposed skin is visible, so there is no way to see the scars. For the disadvantage "Distinctive Features" I can see how to cost it, it counts as "easily concealed." But what should the cost be for COM? Must the full -4 be modified to reflect that his/her ugliness is not apparent when in costume?

Re: Kandor Please remember comics in general, and DC in particular, have never been known for attention to detail. Considering what was shown to be inside the bottle in various stories, the only rational explanation (Rational? in a comic book?) is that Brainiac used his super science to have much more volume inside the bottle that the bottle takes up in outside space. Otherwise, based on the size of the bottle shown (no more than 3 ft diameter) and the size of the Kandorians who come out the inside of the bottle would be less than 1000 ft! BTW, the later explanation for Kryptonian super powers is the yellow sun, no mention of gravity. Otherwise, Superman would still have super strength under under a red sun, unless the planet had very high gravity. Also, in several stories non-kryptonians have traveled to Krypton (in the past), and they had no problem with high gravity.

Re: shadowcats vehicular insanity shop: Orel Ulyanovsk Class CVN Both correct. And the Royal Navy was perfectly able to operate modern carriers with catapults, they did into the 1970's. The decision to downsize to "jumpjet" mini-carriers was a political one for reasons of economy. As I understand it, they plan to build a real CV again soon.

Re: If Earth was hit by a Meteor A 500 km diameter asteroid is basically the size of Vesta (530 km diameter) which is the third largest asteroid in this system (almost tied for second with Pallas.) None of those three are "Earth crossing" bodies, which means that the chance of their hitting Earth (absent some aliens with "god-like" technology moving them) is zero. Statistically, I believe the chance of Earth being fried by a nearby supernova is greater. The chance of another "dinosaur killer" impact is tiny, you are more likely to be struck by a falling airplane than the Earth is to get a "dinosaur killer level impact within the next century. And the asteroid/meteor that killed the dinosaurs was tiny compared to Vesta.
