  1. http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Tabletop-RPG-Dungeons-Dragons/dp/078691548X EDIT: And here's a fast-play PDF I just found: https://www.wizards.com/diabloii/Diablo2FastPlay.pdf
  2. Nope. There was a problem in the store when I purchased, so Jason got me the PDF via alternate means. I never went back to download again. Now that I have, looking at the lo-res version I see the issue you described. It's actually a problem through the entire book. Every single write-up has missing information in that part of the stats. (I didn't go through the book/hi-res PDF to verify none of them show any problems.)
  3. I'm looking at the book and the PDF and I do see those stats for the Pseudo-Rat Swarm (p26; 4/4/4/4), Raider Bull (p28; 4/4/3/3), and Raider Gunman (p29; 8/8/3/3). They're in the 2nd "section" of the stats, along with SPD.
  4. I hope not literally! 'Cause then you might have poltergeists. (Sorry, OT.)
  5. Hero Designer is great for helping with the math. http://www.herogames.com/forums/store/product/1-hero-designer/
  6. I just did a Google search for: "convert mutants and masterminds to hero system" and found several hits that may be of use. They are generally for converting the other way, and the one that seemed most useful at a glance was for M&M 2E. But they may give you a starting point. This site has some links back to various threads on the boards here: http://www.curufea.com/doku.php?id=roleplaying:hero:conversions:hero_system
  7. Actually he's already loaded his pack with loot while the other 2 are still looking around. Leave it to the Dwarf to make sure he gets his share when the other shoe drops and they have to high-tail it out of there!
  8. To fix something implies that it is broken. [Long dissertation deleted here.] We all have our opinions of what we do/don't like in the rules. Despite your assertion otherwise, the tone of the posts seems to imply that you do expect us to say, "you're right," and that we need to do something about it, even if that is not your intent. I simply hoped you wouldn't go down the rabbit hole of railing against the rules rather than using what you like, and not using what you don't like, in order to enjoy your game.
  9. From the way it's written the disturbing thing appears to be the combination of Naked Advantages existing in the rules at all and that the GM can overrule. @WistfulD: Seriously, your issue currently seems to be that you have an opinion on how the rules should be written that doesn't match the actual text of the Rules As Written. None of us here can change that, whether we agree with your position or not. If you're a player, talk with your GM about what you want to accomplish and how to best do that in the game. If you're the GM, congratulations, you can decide for yourself what will work best for your game. Either way I see a lot of stress over the one thing you can't change rather those things you can change.
  10. Here's a breakdown across versions. 1E - push by up to 10 pts. "to perform a heroic action" (such as the wall falling down on a helpless old lady in the example). 2E - same as 1E 3E - occassionally to perform a heroic action. Push by up to 10 points. They also introduce the option to require an EGO roll, "perhaps a maximum of 5 Power Points of Push for every 1 point the EGO Roll is made by." (I'm pretty sure the intent wasn't to let you push to such high limits--I made my roll by 5 and push for 25 points!--but that's what they wrote.) 4E - still says occasionally, but breaks out Heroic (push up to 5 pts, plus an additional +1 for every point an EGO roll is made by), and superheroic (up to 10 pts and no EGO roll) 5E - "Pushing can only be used for crucial, heroic, or life-saving actions." Heroic gets 5 pts with a successful EGO roll, +1 for every 1 pt the roll is made by" (note that the text no longer states "an additional +1"). Superheroic is still 10 pts. with no EGO roll. 5ER - "...characters can only use Pushing for crucial, heroic, or life-saving actions." And the same points as 5E. 6E - Same conditions as 5ER. And the same text on points as in 5ER. CC - "...perform a noble, heroic, or life-saving action...." To a maximum of +10 CP. Heroic gets a note that it requires an EGO roll and you get +1 CP per point the roll is made by, to a maximum of +5 FHC - "...perform a noble, heroic, or life-saving action...." Requires an EGO roll, and you get +1 CP per point you make the roll by, to a max of +5. Superheroic fantasy is still 10 pts with no EGO roll.
  11. If you want to know the intent in 6E, you can ask Steve your question around that specific edition. (I saw your original post over in the 6E rules forum.) He doesn't answer 5E questions any more, although since the wording is the same, you can probably figure out what was meant by that version as well. I can actually read the 5E/6E version either way. The CC/FHC are explicitly one direction, as was the 4E version. Since I don't play Heroic level, it hadn't really caught my eye before. (Although this would certainly be good to know if I can ever get people interested in a Pulp game.)
  12. Here's the last version I could find. Champions Complete Sell Sheet V3.pdf
  13. My "First printing October 2004" copy of 5ER shows the cost as 3 END. If yours shows the 4, what printing is it? And, to be fair to the OP, in my copy, the full text seems to contradict what we're saying by the way it is written:
  14. My quote is straight from the text, and very specifically mentions the END cost. I see that example as well. I agree with Hyper-Man as to the errata status. (And seemingly confirmed by bibywolfe's post.)
  15. Not sure what page you're looking at. 5ER 122 has the example with Golden Eagle. He has Flight 20" and adds x8 non-combat multiplier for a total of 40+10=50 points. It then states, "His Flight costs 5 END, regardless of whether he uses Combat or Noncombat Movement."
  16. Requiem and Frost are in the 5E Stronghold PDF.
  17. I'd managed to forget that one. Thanks for reminding me. Here's the intro: And I noticed at least 3 of the 5 aired episodes in the list there as well.
  18. The whole Episode IV thing only came out with the re-release to fund Episode I. Prior to that it was just, "Star Wars". To misquote Scotty in TNG, "Show me Star Wars. No bloody 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6!"
  19. If this is some form of "ordinary" weapon (built as an accessible focus, or possibly as restrainable), use the Disarm maneuver (6E2 60; CC 149).
  20. 6E is an evolution of 5E. You can do this with either one. I will note that if your players end up wanting books, you might look at Fantasy Hero Complete as that is the current release for fantasy and is available in both dead-tree and pdf formats.
