Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Recently I've been watching, and enjoying, Dinner: Impossible on the Food Network. Chef Robert Irvine gets challenged to prepare gourmet meals on a short timeline, and in some rather odd locations. After watching several episodes of this, I'd love to have him cook dinner for me sometime. But I also wouldn't want to work for him. Scott Baker

Re: Regrettable Disads I had a player in a Champions game choose Mute. I, and some of the other players, tried to convince him it might not be a good idea. He insisted, so I allowed it. It was really more of a disadvantage for the player than the character since he always forgot that his character couldn't talk and would try and start, or join, conversations. Needless to say, the player soon tired of being reminded to write a note (no sign language interpreters), or ignored--depending on the player. He soon asked for a change, and we let him. Scott Baker

Re: Venture Brothers Hero? I'd say Yes as well. There's definitely some dated references, but overall the show holds up well. And it even included a few surprises--I had completely forgotten Race tossing the grenade around a buidling and blowing up a jeep, and the bad guys driving it. You don't see the bodies, but the implication was definitely there. Scott Baker
