  1. If a character has a Mind Link established, then turns Desolid, does the Mind Link drop? (The Mind Link has no advantags, and is usable by any willing mind.)
  2. Re: Who should be featured next? Eurostar for my vote, too.
  3. Re: 3 Stooges Martial Art Style Use Art with nyuk-nyuk-chuks.
  4. Re: Jokes Why don't ghosts have babies?
  5. Re: Mental Martial Arts Madness? I've proposed something similar for spellcasters. That explains why they all specialize in schools of magic, because each spell requires a new Weapon Element. "Use Art with Fireball," etc.
  6. Re: Biggest Brains in DC Well, according to the Can of Whupass mythos, the smartest member of the Justice League is not Batman, but the wheelchair-bound Professor Stephen J Hawkman.
  7. Re: "Neat" Pictures Coincidence? I think not!

    Bat-People

Re: Bat-People And here's my version, from my superhero game.
  9. Re: Mnemonic aid Another possibility is Detect: Specific Memory. But I'd personally do it as a boost to INT Skills; Only to Remember (-1/2).
  10. Re: "Neat" Pictures I think you can get there from this exit...
  11. Re: Mount Rushmore golem thematically, not a bad choice. But I think I'd rather see all the Easter Island heads rise up and join forces, as representatives of another nation. The battle could be held at Stonehenge. Picture of teh Bunneh's quickening.
  12. Re: anti-Hummingbird gadget Taking 50% Mental Damage Reduction can be very useful in staving off those nasty uber-high effects. But to really "persuade one against a mental attack," you need to know how to hit her where it hurts. A Drain COM Damage Shield (sucking away her youth with each mental command) would put a cramp in her day. If she's not easily dissuaded that way, a Drain EGO Damage Shield is fairly effective against mentalists (or even Drain All Mental Powers to get even meaner).
  13. Re: "Neat" Pictures That's not the reason that I don't believe in evolution, but it certainly doesn't help the case.
  14. Re: "Neat" Pictures Or this, even with a full set of trading cards!
  15. Re: "Neat" Pictures Hey, that's not me! I'm much better looking.
  16. Re: This Human doesn't smell threatening That's a good point. But the following sentence says that it "allows him to blend seamlessly into an appropriate background," which is the effect I was going for. The character would smell like part of the natural environment, as if he belonged. But even without that, applying the Only When Not Attacking (-1/2) limitation should apply. It's hard to seem like a non-predator while attacking. Ah! Thanks. I had forgotten that. In my own campaign, I'd probably allow single-sense invisiblity to be bought straight, at half the normal cost. But that's just me.
  17. Re: Steve's Chat Tonight (Weds., Sept. 17) Main hero page, http://www.herogames.com, "Chat Room" in yellow against the black background, just to the right of the white Hero Games logo.
  18. Re: "Neat" Pictures Also, an accurate picture of the internet.
  19. Re: Cheese factor One slightly less cheesy way to handle Haste (instead of increased SPD) is to just grant Rapid Attack to your allies. And, for simplicity's sake, I'd probably handle the levels as just an Aid to DEX, since Haste should (arguably) also improve initiative order.
