Re: 5 Super Powers You Can Have Today Thats a really cool article,but I could have done with out the writers glib comments.I saw an extreme sports show where the hosts would watch some sports video & try & do it themselves.They got some of the leg prosthetics & tryed to run & jump ith them on.The one got some really good heighth with them(though he darn near killed himself landing.).

Re: Champions Index? Never seen write ups for the New Purple Gang just the entrys in 5th ed Champions Universe & Millinum City books.Although there is their leader the Poe kid & his vendeta against his father & PSI.

Re: Morrow Project I was just going through those pages wednesday night thinking that if I ran a Morrow type game w/Hero almost everything was there.(I was on there looking for a WW2 plane for my "Blackhawk"-type character since my friend is runnig his Golden-Age game before the P-38 Lightning was in service.)

Re: 7 Sci-Fi Series Ripe for Movie Reboots There is a new Blakes 7 in the works.BBC is in the preproduction stages on it last I heard.According to the Wikipedia entry for Blakes 7 it says "On 24 April 2008, Sky One announced that they had commissioned two 60-minute scripts for a potential series, working alongside B7 Productions, a subsidiary of B7 Media who owns the licence to the show." Haven't heard anything newer

Re: rank and age "Jumping Jim" Gavin graduated West Point in 1929 as a 2nd Lt.On Oct 16,1941 he was promoted to Major & made S3 for the 503rd PIB of the 82nd . & he took command of the 82nd Aug of 42 as a Colonel.He had been promote to Brig. General by the time of the Normandy Invasion in june of 44. "Jumping Jim" was one of my favorite officers of WW2.Loved when the had Elliot Gould play him in "A Bridge to Far";)

Re: The Greatest American Hero A friend & I wrote up Ralph & Bill (He was Ralph & I was Bill.).He just ran Ralph a couple weeks ago.He did a really good copy of the two cops helping Ralph up for his character pic.I haven't played Bill in a couple years.

Re: Monster Island I too was disapointed.Not so much by the lack of the Japanese Giant Monter material,but just the overall quality & design.I almost over looked them thinking they were for someother game just stuck in the Hero Games section on the shelf.Only because I caught the books names(I also got The Atlantian Age.)did I realize what they were.It wasn't till later when I sat down to read it did I realize The champions were on the cover(Hate the new costumes,except for Witchfire's at least she still looks like she did.). I liked the book except for the poser artwork.It was still a reconizable Hero Games product(unlike The Atlantian Age).I really was looking forward to this book,& feel a little like I should have saved my money.I've never had that feeling about a Hero book. I did like that Argent got used (I use Argent more than Viper anymore,thanks for the agent write-ups),as was Viper.Liked Bureau 17 & the good Dr Moreau.(I like Father ElK ).Wish the maps were more detailed,but you gotta work with what they gve you.

Re: starter villains I've had a team of villians I've used since I 1st started gming Champions back in the early 80's. The main team is Laser,Blowtorch,Pulsar,Green Dragon,Shrinker,Armadillo & Esper. A few other join every now & then but this is the core.I've had Pulsar & Armadillo go back & forth as team leader(& for a while Rainbow Archer was leader.).Laser & Blowtorch are the Booster Gold & Blue Beetle of this group.Power Crusher was a member for a while too. Right now they've hired themselfs out to Argent & work with a local "Lab" in the campagin city.
