Energy blasts are a super power. Marksmanship is a skill.

In a supers universe, supervillains robbing banks is a real world problem.

Don't exaggerate. It's only happened once.
There's nothing illegal about that. That's basically how the electoral college has always worked.

Shining trapezohedrons.

Clonus got a reaction from Matt the Bruins in Supergirl
The MCU series don't suffer from the kind of power bloat that makes it unbelievable that Supergirl or the Flash could be handled.

Well obviously they will. They've already used the nuclear option once once on lesser appointments, and the only alternative here would be to let the Supreme Court continue to shrink until a Republican is elected. But that's assuming they can gain a majority. Otherwise the Supreme Court will merely shrink.

I once gave some thought to a League of Superheroes ripoff in which Earth's representative was there because his power was "telling convincing lies". As for why this season might not be as enjoyable...well Cat Grant is a big loss. Snapper Carr isn't exactly bringing a lot of charm to the table. The giant horde of illegal extraterrestrials did kind of come out of nowhere and the preachiness about illegal "aliens" wears on the nerves.

Johnny Moon
Dreams in class
Answers the question before it`s asked
You can see Johnny but he`s not here
Nobody saw Johnny disappear
Mama says his mother`s too easy
Letting him come and go as he pleases
Walls and windows won`t do it
Lock the door
Johnny goes right through it
It`s so hard to get his attention
When he`s out there in another dimension
Johnny I want to follow you outside
I want to feel that high
It`s so hard to get his attention
When he`s out there in another dimension
Johnny, I want to follow you outside
I want to feel that high
Johnny, you, I can pretend with
You`re only one I can really bend with
Take me `cross the river Styx
Fill my eyes with fire tricks
Anything you got up your sleeve
Anything you tell me, Johnny, I`ll believe
It`s so hard to get your attention
When you`re out there in another dimension
Johnny, I want to follow you outside
I want to feel that high

Clonus got a reaction from Trencher in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase Three and BEYOOOOONND
I hope Civil War isn't faithful, because the comic book storyline was an incoherent mess.

No it isn't because he wasn't. Clinton was accused of sloppy storage of classified information, and was given a pass because it could not be established that she understood computer security well enough to grasp the security vulnerability of what she was doing. General Petraeus on the other hand took actual physical top secret documents home and deliberately showed them to his uncleared girlfriend. The two things are not the same. Clinton risked a security leak. Petraeus committed one. Note, that that former attorney general Alberto Gonzales (not in the Obama administration) deliberately took top secret documents home and kept them there, before taking them back and putting them in a Justice Department safe that uncleared persons had access to. He was also not charged with anything even though the NSA were not happy campers.

Middle Earthsomer Murders: It's a little known fact that the Shire has more murder and sexual depravity per furlong than Mordor.

Yes but why is that a scandal? Did people expect the party brass to be neutral to the non-Democrat who came in to try to take over? If so, why?

And...how is that sad? Yes, obviously more people are killed by civilians than cops. It would be very strange if that was not the case. The difference is when a civilian does it without a sound legal justification, that's a crime.
