I would feel so bad about this if the police in other locales hadn't been caught slashing people's tires, on top of  the Seattle PD being told to stop using tear gas and using it anyway.

You could. People have shot police serving no knock warrants on the wrong house and walked without being charged, for just those reasons.

On the other hand, you're not likely to be able to put up much useful resistance in the moment, so a lawsuit after the fact might be the more prudent course of action. (Assuming the intent isn't to permanently disappear you, of course. Or even semi-permanently.)

Marconi controls the radio. Sonic attacks, broadcasting, eavesdropping, and transportation are all on the plate. His power does require a radio to be present to use his powers.

I don't know if this is more than a conspiracy theory but Breonna Taylor's family has hired a lawyer to sue Louisville for her death. One of the contentions filed is the police weren't there to execute a drug search warrant. They were there to move Taylor and her boyfriend out of their place so it could be gentrified, and the mayor's office knew it at the time of her shooting.

Ishmael Buchanan is known as the Harpooner. His weapon allows him to put a target down either from stabbing, or throwing like lightning. Secondary effects allow him to use it to fly, point at things, and various other effects having to deal with distance.

Sine we're going Meso-american, let's go with the baddest of the big and the biggest of the bad -- The Aztecs!

    Xipe Totec (the Flayed One)

This radiant machine takes the form of a fifteen foot tall human skeleton, with bones made of glowing jade.  It has meteorological abilities, and can make rain fall and sun shine down (or at least, bathe an area about the size of five city blocks with radiation of the same appearance, wavelength and other characteristics as sunlight).  It also generates a huge, focused "fertility wave", electro-chemically stimulating the growth of vegetation generally, and, specifically, the reproduction of all varieties of CORN... but this ability is inefficient enough that the machine requires a constant resupply of biological materials when using it.

    What biological materials are required?
A] 6-8 pints of human blood from the same source, maintained at higher than ambient temperature throughout, spilled over a 12 x 12 "receptor block" of obsidian.
B] 10-12 lbs of ectodermal connective tissue from a single source
C] Blood and dermis must be sourced from a healthy, reproductively optimised genetic female

And if resupply must be performed each month --

-- then we have a new rationale for one of the bloodier Aztec rituals known, the invocation of the Flayed God, Xipe [hee-pay] Totec, god of corn.  The priests of this fertility god stabbed and bled a young female victim, skinned her corpse and then *wore* the skin in a days-long observance representing the resurrection of this dying-and-rising god in the person of the sacrifical victim.  During the ritual, the priest danced continuously, tapping the faithful with a "blessing bone" (one of the victim's thigh-bones) as he danced by, clad only in the rapidly-decaying skin... which was sometimes referred to as "The Golden Hide," for the colour it assumed as it rotted!

And I love the original Grimm's fairytales, too!

Konosuba as Kazama a normal gameplaying guy dies of a heart attack and is sent to kill the demon lord in a fantasy realm. His weapon of choice is the dippy Aqua, goddess of water. His party Megumim, a mage who only knows one spell Explosion, and Darkness, a crusader knight who likes being hit a lot. Some of it is creepy, but the demon lord's general shows up and he's a little ticked off that Megumim has been blowing up his castle every day for months.

Is this how social conservatives propose to maintain constitutional order? By openly calling for defiance of the Constitutionally-mandated function of the SCOTUS whenever they don't like how it rules?

I don't think I have ever had a problem with any of these as a player, and I have used most of these as a GM and never had a complaint.  The biggest complaints I have had as a player is lack of options from the GM. Some GMs I have dealt with are Poof, you're captured with no chance to get away. Don't like that. Don't like you should be playing your character this way, instead of the way you are playing. Don't like having to solo villains that are bigger than I am on the power scale, and then have to hear complaints from the GM. Don't like soloing the villain, and the GM says you didn't actually solo the villain which is different from number two because the villain didn't die because the GM said your wave motion gun that shoots through buildings only left a scratch.

Did any of that make sense?
