The 2015 Fantastic Four.

Frankly, I find the nu52 turning her into the daughter of zeus far more jarring departure than the movie starting in WW1.
but that's just me. I liked the whole crafted from clay bit

Man Of Steel was such an atrocious piece of crap it's hard to see any movie being worse, so I'm optimistic.

Yes, but unlike them I pay for my food.
They want to avoid paying for their grazing. I'm not really keen on taking over homes or businesses or government buildings - and I kind of doubt these guys are really hurting financially. Bundy is the son of a wealthy rancher who's daddy decided he didn't need to pay rent on the land he grazed on for 21 years. And when the political pressure hit got his confiscated cattle back.
They are rushing to the defense of ranchers who were (I believe) convicted of Arson.
They're assholes. And that's about as kind as I'll be. They're also idiots. As they've managed to make themselves foolish and weak.

bigbywolfe reacted to Nolgroth in The Flash
The rape reference was certainly gritty, which while it goes hand in hand with dark, is not necessarily the same thing.
Keep in mind that "dark" does not necessarily equal bad. It's just dark. That I prefer the Flash does not make the Daredevil and JJ stories any less compelling or "good." It just makes them, for my purposes, less fun (and thus a little less enjoyable) for me. And this is the me of late 2015. In another year, I might be seeing JJ and DD as moderately grim and Flash as too frivolous. My tastes change that way.

I let my hair down in my twenties. It never returned to the top of my head and now congregates in my nose, ears, ass, and toes.
*shakes fist in impotent anger at fun*

Well, opinions vary, but it sounds like you're making your own definition of dark (or taking the one possible definition you prefer) and labeling yours the correct one. *Shrug*

Mark Hamill voiced the Joker for Batman: TAS at least a year after appearing in the original TV series of "The Flash", so it might be more appropriate to say that he was channeling the Trickster when voicing the Joker.

bigbywolfe got a reaction from Hyper-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase Three and BEYOOOOONND
You're the first person I've seen say they didn't like Ant Man. Most of my circle thought it was better than Iron Man 3 or Thor 2 and many liked it better than the Avengers movies.

bigbywolfe reacted to Ternaugh in Arrow ~
Considering that it's in the first look trailer that they'll need to travel through time to fight Vandal Savage's plans, I'd pretty much assume that the entire series is based on time travel.

It's not just Strange's origin story. It is, in a sense, the origin story of "magic" in the MCU beyond what little we've seen in the Thor films. Maybe not so much the origin of magic per se, but Strange's journey from rationalist to sorceror becomes our journey as we learn the nature of magic in the MCU right along with him. I am weary of origin stories too, but I kind of feel this an important one, and an important one to get right for the future of multi-dimensional "magic" in the MCU.

I was just issued a new iPad Air at work, and the assistant IT guy (a former student) came by to help me set it up. He introduced me to Siri. This has led to a few amusing Q&As.
Me: Who's on first?
Siri: That's right. Who is on first.
Me: What is the meaning of life?
Siri: I don't believe there's a consensus on that question.
Me: What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Siri: The last person who asked me that ended up in a crevasse.
Who says programmers don't have a sense of humor?

Been a long time since I've felt the need to block someone, but when you repeatedly insult someone and tell them to calm down when they weren't worked up until you insulted them... I just can't handle that kind of intentional jackassery anymore.
