I hope this is allowed, as I am reaching wit's end. I and my group are avid Hero Games fans, and we have a cubic buttload of materials. However, none of us can locate a working copy of the software, Hero Maker, for 4th Edition Champions. I would greatly appreciate if anyone has an angle on my being able to acquire a copy.

I'm not sure where to look to see if this has been asked yet so I thought I'd just ask. I apologize if its already been asked. Will the Hero System Martial Arts book be in full color or black and white or are you unable to say at this point? Something about the martial arts genre seems to me to deserve the full color treatment but that's just my opinion. If this question has been asked and answered already could someone direct me to the post so as to avoid wasting Steve's time?

I'd like to see a Hero System FX: A book with suggestion on how to simulate various special effects, something like the Ultimate energy projector but covering more than "elemental" type.

I'm on the move a lot. I love to read books when I'm away from home, since I don't have a portable solution for bringing around e-books, but rely mostly on PDFs when I'm at home. Primarily this is because while books are easy to read, tangible as proof of something cool, and a good way to knock myself out if I can't sleep (physically or figuratively), e-books are much easier to store, protect, and search. This makes me interested mainly in the bundle packs offered: if I can get both a digital copy as well as a physical copy, I'm right as rain. (Not to mention that I can read the book right after buying it, instead of attempting to freeze myself to make the wait le…

The HD pack is is supposed to contain "[a]ll...package deals." It contains a few (e.g., Heavy Weapons Specialist) as character files, which is fine. The others (e.g., Scarlet Serpent) aren't characters or actual Package Deals. Instead, they're Prefabs. Prefabs are a little annoying, because you have to actually add each item from the Prefab list. What's worse, though, is that the Prefab doesn't actually include the specs, just the name (e.g., "Viper helmet"), which is nearly useless. In other words, in order to build, e.g., a Scarlet Serpent, you have to start with a General Combat Specialist or something, pull up the SS Prefab list, THEN pull up various …

I was just wondering if anyone out there has perhaps compiled a checklist of all of the HERO System 5e books that are available to date. I know 6e is hitting shelves as we speak, but I am working with what I have at hand, which is still 5e, and would like to lay hands on a complete check list of the books for the 5e series. Thanks in advance for your help!

Here’s our back-cover text describing TUM: THE POWERS OF THE MIND Few things fascinate gamers as much as mental powers — the ability to read (or control) minds, to move physical objects with just a thought, to foresee the future, to fight entire battles in one’s mind. But while intriguing, psionic abilities can also prove difficult to handle in a gaming context, due to the potential for overwhelming power. Creating and playing a mentalist character can be a real challenge. The Ultimate Mentalist is your guide to mental powers and characters who use them in the HERO System. It includes: —a discussion of the various types of mentalist characters and how …

Greetings All, Hero Games should ride the wave of energy being generated by Champions Online! Cryptic gave out trial keys to the life time subscribers. I gave two of them out to my Champions group and both players have now bought Champions Online. They want to know how long until we have the 6th Edition stats for everything in the Cryptic universe? It would be great if the upcoming Champions book had everything we have seen so far in the game. I'm going to start my 6th ed. Champions campaign running parallel with the material given in Champions Online. Cryptic did an excellent job!

Quick question: If/When are we going to be seeing a Hero Designer for 6th Edition? Because that program is what made 5th edition accessible for me and the idea of approaching 6th Edition without it is daunting.

I'd love to see a published yearly supplement with FAQ updates and any necessary changes to pre-built power builds for Hero System. Hero System Annual 2009, Or Hero System Six Annual #1, kind of thing. Even Annual #0 if all the sample powers weren't in the main book, allowing them to be revised as necessary without worrying about needing to update the main book in the highly unlikely event that changes would be needed soon after publication. $5 seems like a fair price point, especially if it's text only, and mostly content from the web site. (Hopefully implicit is a "keep up the good work, let me give you money for supporting my hobby")

Hoping to see a 6th Edition Galactic Champions book in the fairly near future. Not sure if Cryptic's plans will interfere, but I loved the 5E book and would love to see more. I am a Legion of Superheroes fan and GC was right up my alley. I especially love how Star Hero is in continuity with it thanks to the unified timeline. So please have someone write this masterpiece for me! I'll beg if I have to. Defender 3000's continuing exploits must be written so that I may help fight the Nibu Gemani and Arcane.

I am an avid collector of Books, and am looking for a comprehensive list of Hero Books. Does anyone have anything that I can use? All I need is Product Code / Title / ISBN (if possible) / System. Many thanks in advance.
