zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER This is annoying, the plane left well over 2 hours late and isn't making up ANY time, I guess they left so late they figured why try. But it completely screwed up my plans for a little rest at home and such.

zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yup, they went live just in time for my prior trip over here, in April, so far no one else has (as far as I know) but it would have to be a matter of time now. It seems quite reliable. Getting near the Canadian mainland. Probably will be off for a while, though, since I think I'll take a nap. Where are you? Just above the mainland now, just across the strait from Victoira Island, quite a ways east of Great Bear Lake (just going by what the airline map shows as features), pretty much total cloud cover here, but over one of the islands earlier could see some barren cliffs/wastelands covered in snow. Gah, you'll pass well east of us. I'm in Seattle. You said "Victoria Island" and meant it ... I assumed that was an oops for Vancouver Island. Snow? Did you say snow? And MEAN it? Is that usual for this time of year?
RPMiller
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Why very frightening? Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Does anyone know how to dance the Watuzi? No, but I saw it in my youth and would probably recognize it if I saw it again. Being a DEX 6, dancing is something I cannot do.

zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Snow? Did you say snow? And MEAN it? Is that usual for this time of year? Not that far north, that's sub-arctic.
zornwil
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER PS - or maybe arctic - I don't recall exactly where it was now, but it would have been between 70 and 75 degrees north.

If you don't I WILL have to shoot you. Yes, of course I do! And I also remember that because of the slow precession of the Earth's axis, the circles are always moving (by about 40 feet per year, IIRC).
