nexus
I'm not sure how long ago, but a net "supplement" was created for GURPS detailing rules for sexual encounters using the system. It was called, obviously enough, GURPS:Sex. I was wondering had anyone ever done something simililar for HERO (pure morbid curiosity, I assure you). [/quote'] I've got all of the netguides this guy did, including the 6 appendixis (Guide to Dice, Guide to Bowling, Guide to Gruel). I have to say, it must have been do to the rarity of net connections and the limited access (to mostly college educated people) but the quality of netbooks from back then was phenomenal compared to some of the crap we get these days. It's pretty sad. I doubt we'll ever see another netbook of the likes of The Great Net Spell Book or Guide to Mettalica. A cryin' shame, I say. It is because of people like Killer Shrike and Eodin with their fantastic web efforts that I love Hero System so much. And as soon as I get back to school I'll actually get to play my first game:D Unless any of you know of any other Hero gamers on Fort Gordon. Super Squirrel
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet Lets see if I can say both of these in the same post without sounding wrong. I found the section on Command Plant on the page http://www.netbook-of-uck.net/online_guide/7_oldspells.htm as rather, um, disturbing. Some of the new spells are equally twisted. If I had time, I could be tempted to do some Hero related write-ups for this nature of thing. That is, realistic pregnancy chances, write ups for Earthly STD's and a very well written disclaimer about how a GM should NEVER introduce these things without getting permission from a player to use. Col. Orange
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet Hmmmm... Sex Hero... we should get Steve to write this one as another of his little side projects. Shouldn't that be Sexual Hero. Or would that be just a list of porn stars? With game stats?
Zaratustra
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet Ultimate Porn Star? Perhaps a look at how genetic-based and disease-based powers would pass along the population. And some LSs for fast pregnancy and growth. Sociotard
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet Not too long ago, I saw a supplement in the local store for "Naughty and Dice", a supplement intended to be adaptable to most gaming systems (yeah, right), which covered the introduction of a "Sexuality" Stat, various skills, diseases, etc.
BobGreenwade
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet It just now occurred to me that some of the material under discussion here (disease, pregnancy, and such) could possibly be covered in a more general supplement on vice crimes for Dark Champions. So maybe we're not as far off base as we think.

Sex Hero... we should get Steve to write this one as another of his little side projects. Didn't someone suggest Porn Hero on the "Useless list"? It just now occurred to me that some of the material under discussion here (disease' date=' pregnancy, and such) could possibly be covered in a more general supplement on vice crimes for [i']Dark Champions[/i]. So maybe we're not as far off base as we think. I think there is some potential in the subject, just as Bob says. White Wolf has written a bit about it in their World of Darkness series. Even if the intercourse itself might not be that entertaining to role play for most people, several of the things around it might (for example, the social complications with fetishes and phobias). I’ve found two GURPS links related to this: GURPS High Heels GURPS Sex
Zaratustra
Re: Weirdest Hero question yet Maybe a text on diseases, effects of damage, pregnancy, advanced age and other 'gooshy' stuff.
