cleireac
Re: Pulp Hero Resources Help! I somehow got into a chunk of You-Tube yesterday which had short movie showing stop motion pteradactyls attacking a zeppelin. It was made by splicing together old 20'30's movies, newsreel footage and some decent edits. But, as in all things You-Tube, and an overactive cookie / history cleanerI can no longer find it. I think it was called zeppelin vs pteradactyl. Can anybody get me a link? Here you go:
"V"
Re: Pulp Hero Resources I had to look it up ... I didn't know that bit of slang. Chuckle... I think in context it's an acronym for "Without Guarantee", but it did speedbump my reading of the post when I saw it.

BigJackBrass
Re: Pulp Hero Resources Not sure if anyone's been paying attention to Pelgrane's See Page XX, a nifty collection of articles for their games which has more recently begun to include pieces about the pulp era (tying in with the upcoming Trail of Cthulhu game they're publishing): http://pelgranepress.com/SeePageXX/december2007.html

BigJackBrass
Re: Pulp Hero Resources My Inbox is generally a sorry collection of commercial notices and occasional letters, but once in a while something worth a look arrives... Today it was a newsletter from Lego pointing me towards their new Indiana Jones Lego sets. I hope these get released in the UK (not all of the cool Lego stuff does, alas). Anyway, consider it another source of pulp miniatures

BigJackBrass
Re: Pulp Hero Resources I owe you REP Not a problem, I appreciate the last lot you gave By the way, if you like the look of the Lego sets then you'll certainly fancy a go at playing this. Definitely one for my "games to buy" list, but then the Fedora, custom leather jacket and authentic British gasmask bag in my wardrobe do tend to hint at a slight interest in the pulp / Indy scene... "Tailspin" fits right in to a "Pulp" campaign (aprt from the anthropomorphic animals of course !, I'm not sure I could handle one of my players wanting to play a Bear pilot !) The website did inspire me to go buy the first season on DVD. Definitely worth the $25+tax I paid at Best Buy.
JakSpade
Re: Pulp Hero Resources I couldn't resist this, and I don't even know if it belongs on the Pulp Hero Resources thread... I found this link on the Terra Incognita web site: http://nagssociety.com/ Here's the Justice League, redesigned for the Victorian Era. I love the Aquaman statue... they're all a good fit into the era. http://home.insightbb.com/%7esillof/customfiguresGASLIGHT.html There's also a revision of the Star Wars characters... http://home.insightbb.com/%7esillof/customfiguresSW-revisions.html enjoy! jak
