Opale
Hello Folks ! All is in the Title. Been not an english native speaker, I am having difficulties to find a nice name for a Beautiful female brick, based on Density Increase powers (impervious resistance, Super-dense Fists, and the like) I already have looked at the synonyms for Density ( Like Compactness, and such..) but I don't find any of them graceful enough. And yes, I need an english language name. If that can help, the character gained her power from having been Shrinked and forced to travel in a Sub-atomic dimension. For the look, she's like a heroine version of the Titania's Marvel character. Thanks in advance. Escafarc
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine How about Paragon, it's what a a large, flawless diamond is called.
RexMundi
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine Yeah there's a lot of Mineral Terms that could work here and there. Also a lot of bad Pun orientated names. Paragon pops up in comics here and there as well, even as both a Good Guy (male) and Bad Guy (FemParagon female) in the FemForce comics, heh.... When in doubt though, swipe something from Kirby. Seems like a brisck-ish sorta girl, so Go with, Knockout. ~Rex

Christopher
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine A name from classic fantasy novels...Mithril But Mithril is a light, superstrong Metal. How about Adamantium or Starmetal, those are more durable and heavy/dense? A reacent Order of the Stick strip brought Osmium to my attention - it is the "densest natural element" (wikipedia). 22.59 g/cm³. Direclty followed by Iridium (22.56). The third heaviest is lead with only 11.34 g/cm³ Also interstingly Iridium and Osmium are part of the Plantinum Family wich can imply a high "worth" (as a person; high moral standarts). Since she is female, consider changing the "um" to an a: Osmia/Iridia/Leadia

Yes on Iridium, currently trading at ~$1050/oz (Platinum closed last night at $1,501.10), less so for Osmium, about $380/oz. What's Osmium used for anyway? [edit] Followed the link. Pariah
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine The third heaviest is lead with only 11.34 g/cm³. Just for the curious, platinum, gold, and mercury are all more dense than lead. There may be others; those are just the ones I happen to know off the top of my head. Okay, as you were. Martin2
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine How about Pyrities? Derived from Pyrite or fools gold. RexMundi
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine I like the sound of Ms. Mithril myself ....still partial to Knockout but then it's Kirby. Hyper-Man
Re: Needing a Name for a Density Increase Super Heroine re: name suggestions How about Chrissy Chrunch ? .... Question and comment on the powers.... Am I reading correctly that she can turn the Density on and off? If so, using her 40 STR then costs 6 END per Phase (including the DI) before factoring in any extra END spent on the Multipower. That means that even with her 60 END, 14 REC and only a 4 SPD she will still be hard pressed to last through any combat that takes more than 3 Turns. (edit: i missed the Reduced END on up to 40 STR at the end of the Powers list) Also, I believe that when using the Hardened Advantage in combination with the Resistant Defense Advantage, Hardened has to be applied separately to normal defenses and then to the Resistant Advantage itself.
