Re: UnCaped: February Issue
Hero Talk and its staff have absolutely nothing to do with this. I know this for a fact, since my main PC is dating the Owner/Editor in Chief.
Re: PBEM - RDU: The Mavericks - Example & Discussion
More. More. More. This has been awesome, as always. Your narratives are very enjoyable to read.
I especially love the helicopter scene. I could almost see what was left of the gunner flying past me.
Re: Cap is dead!!!!
I'm in, Bolo. Buy a ticket a week. When I win here in Idaho we'll pool our resources, buy a majority of the stock, and can all of the jack@$$es that have mucked things up so badly.
Re: PBEM - RDU: The Mavericks - Example & Discussion
I'm subscribed to this thread, so that I can follow things, Neil. As long as you keep posting, I'll keep reading.
Re: The Magistracy's Baby
A lot of that may be due to your players. They may want to play in a game that is more Iron/Bronze/"Whatever They're On Now" Age. When you're by yourself (writing) you go back to that "happier place" that comics used to be. I have to say that I prefer that place myself.
Re: The Magistracy's Baby
OK, I was just wondering. The Magistracy stories sound just like the type of supers game I like to play in. The characters are interesting, in both the powers and the personalities. Nice work.
Re: "Back when I started playing Champions...."
Back when I started playing Champions, we didn't have laptops and HERO Designer. We made our characters on a legal pad, with a pencil and an eraser... and an abacus.
Re: The Magistracy's Baby
These two posts got me wondering and now I have a question: are these stories you've been posting novelizations of games you've played, or actual fiction you've written using your own characters? Either way, its all good. As to what I'd like to see: anything you have works for me.
Re: The Magistracy's Baby
The Magistracy story (all of the parts) has been excellent. This and RDU Neil's Mavericks thread are two of my favorites.
I had thought (a few times) about asking if you'd post the character write-ups, but then I figured if you wanted to share them you would. Still, it would be cool to see them.
Re: Coriolis Effect - Color Pic of Coriolis?
Dude, you need to them back.
I colored a number of those pics, exactly according to the character descriptions.
They looked so much better that way, instead of just a black and white line drawing.
