Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics… Yes, the artist is Joseph Lisner. Actually, Dawn is a red-head. This must be her cousin, or her evil twin from the mirror universe. I couldn't think of a name at they time I was copying the file, so I just made her "Someone".

Re: A Thread for Random Musings Just finished my sixth and final (for now) golf lesson. A quick down and dirty covering of the short game; chipping, pitching, and putting. Now I just need to practice for the next two or three months and I might be ready to actually set foot on an actual golf course.

Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics… That would be entirely my fault. I was usually placing the pics in folders mostly based on my my interpretation of the character being portrayed. Sometimes I didn't actually read the descriptions accompanying the pics. No offense to any of the characters was intended or implied.

Re: Hero Talk Magazine Dude, I made the cover of Hero Talk. That's even better than being on the cover of Rolling Stone. I'm not sure how Jeff (Forrester, aka SCEPTRE) is going to handle this. It's a huge piece of publicity, but he already puts way too much pressure on himself to live up to the reputation of the hero. This will only add to that pressure, by placing him more squarely in the public's eye. Oh well, just part of being a hero I guess.

Re: Hero Talk Magazine Great interview Doctor. It's so cool to read about characters talking about your own character. And Dr. Powers hit it right on the head. Jeff (aka SCEPTRE) truly has the Golden Age spirit; although there are moments when a bit of the Bronze Age shows through, due to the fact that the world isn't as black and white as he would like it to be. Jeff probably was a Golden Ager in his previous life.

Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics… Thanks i.j Again I just want to say that I have no intention of taking any credit for, making a profit from, or anything else with these pics. I share them with the other players in my group, and we use them in our campaign. I just knew how much time and effort it took me to collect them and wanted to save others that trouble. Zornwil is just providing a place for them to be shared with anyone else searching for good char pics.

Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics… Sorry about that nexus. There are probably quite a few pics in the "wrong" folders. I grouped them according to how I saw the character, not necessarily how the creator did. Even so; great char pics are still great char pics, no matter how they're categorized.

Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics… Savinien, I'd like to extend my sincerest apologies to your friend, and all of the other artists who's work has been posted in this collection without their names. I would love to have credited each and ever pic, but this was definitely a "grab the pic as you see it" collection. A lot of times the artist's names weren't there anyway. That's why I had Wilson add the disclaimer that I only gathered, and am taking no credit for doing any of the artwork (other than a handful of them that I actually did do).
