Re: Toying with new character concepts Using some specific anime seires, I'll mention the characters and mention their psychic powers. Iczer-1: Telepathy(only to talk), energy blasts from hand, telekinsis, teleportation, temporal manipualtion(reset Earthfrom before the Cthullu invaded), pyschic blade, energy explosion(wiped out a solar system with it), flight, space flight, dimensional travel, danger sense, empathy(only for Nagisa) The Dangaio pilots from Star Giant Dangaioh or the DOLL manga. All have basic telepathy and can talk to each other no matter what and are a lot stronger than normal humans. Can take a lot physical punishmnet. Mia-flight, energy explosion, force field, telportation In DOLL, she could manifest a giant energy Dangaio that could really hurt Lamba-Energy blast through finger In DOLL, she could do other things with the energy bolt. She could also infuse power into other people Pai-Super strength beyond the others In DOLL, she could fly on her own Roll-Running while surroned with an energy sheath. In DOLL, he could summon the energy sheath and used it to disentgrate someone by spiing around near him(more like being next to whirling helicopte blades) In the DOLL manga, all four are capable fighters. Heck, the three girls are wrestlers in the manga. Moving on, Iczer-1 could actually argue with Jean Grey on who the most powerful psychic is. Iczer-1 can shield her mind, but she doesn't have the mental attacks Jean does. However, Jean doesn't have that many defenses against a psychic sword shoved through her gut. One guy, and four girls. However, that should give you some ideas on other types of psychic characters.

Re: dungeon For the catacombs underneath Paris, as a means of escape and a place to hide. Central Casting: Dungeons did some answering of this. Underground cities, escape routes, hiding from plauges, mining, troop garrisons, places to hide weapon making.

With DC and Marvel talks on the NGD forum, I figure why not start something here. I'll use those worlds that are part of the Champiosn line or can be translated over fairly easily Just basics. Feel free to alter as you see fit. Earth 1: Giant, Icestar, Rose, Marksman. What would later be used in the League of Champions comic Earth 2: The characters from Champions 4E. With Champions 3D and Mystic Masters, you have other universes added. The planet of the wimps was interesting. I'll skip over those for right now Earth 3: Current champions Earth 4: Omnivlex Earth 5: Silver Age Sentinels Earth 6: Authority RPG(GoO) Same basic rules as SAS.

Re: How to get swords on your starship Swords and knives are cheaper than having a gun with bullets. Excluding stunners and the like, I would not us a gun inside a ship due to riccocet threat.

Re: Wrestling HERO I'd still like to know some of the stuff for the unpublished WWF Advanced book. The Basic book mentioned Lex luger's steel plate in the arm as an Advanced advantage. At any rate, back when Wrestling was at its peak: Midget Champion Featherweight Champion Cruiserweight Champion Heavyweight Champion Intercontinental Champion Tag Team Champions Repeat for women, save for midget wrestling. So you have a total of 11 Championship belts roaming around. The only thing I can think of for Hero to deal with the various weights is to use density and size powers(with the always on disadvantage) to handle the differing divisons. IIRC the Intercontiental could move up and down ranks. A Featherweight could hold it after a Heavyweight.

It came out a year before Star Wars) Honestly? I've been tracking down older shows I saw when I was a child or ones that I missed. Even if they are bootlegs. On that note: The New Adventures of He-Man I also head to YouTube to watch the latest episode of Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z every week.

Let's compare Nekki Basara with singing space whales and the fact that Mylene Jenius can't figure out who she's in love with. Re: Anime based game prep help. Silver Age Sentinels and the El-Hazard RPG had something that could handle this effect. A player sets aside some XP to buy the Unknown Powers power. A 50% bonus(rounded up) is assigned to the XP that was handed over to Unknown Powers. Say if the person set aside 50 Xp. The amount of that could be bought by the GM for that player is 75 xp worth of abilites

However, all of the stuff they did with him was just plausible enough that a person could do this. It's like a guy I once heard of that chopped trees down with duct tape and a paper bag filled with hand grenades or another person who punched out a vending machine with a cop standing right behind him.

Back before Magic: The Gathering turned Wizards of the Coast into a money machine, they had a Capsystem called Primal Order. There were tables taht allowed it to be used with multiple systems. Has anyone tried using Primal Order for their Fanatsy Hero or Champions game? Despite the work that Hero does or has done, IMPO Primal Order: Chessboards is still the best book on planes and planar travel.
