Incidentally,the last thing I saw was a DVD of Baron Blood by the late,great director Mario Bava.Not one of his better works,but even minor Bava is miles better than most modern horror movies.

Re: VPP, Extra Capacity? The problem with having extra capacity in a VPP is that it isn't really necessary-at worst,why not have two VPPs instead of one? The main problem with this is it costs the same number of points to purchase two 45 point VPPs (assuming both Frameworks have identical Advantages & Limitations) as it does to have one 90 point VPP.Since a 90 point VPP is far more useful than two 45 point VPPs,there is no real reason (save for campaign limits) to have more than one VPP.

Re: New Mechanic: Adjustment Power (Overhauled) That's certainly true.I'd replace that Power Advantage with the following Power Advantage:Increased Maximum (+1/2).Each level of this Advantage would double the maximum number of points that the Adjustment Power effects:that is one level of this advantage would enable an Adjustment Power to affect 12 C.P. per die,while two levels (a +1 Advantage) would double that maximum to 24 point per die.

Re: Comment on this character I'd actually up his DEX to 29 and his INT to 18,which would give him an additional +1 to both his DEX and INT rolls (and therefore raise the relevant Skills by one),and reduce most of his CSL's by one (Block being the exception) and drop the Enhanced Perception.

Re: Robot Love Stories I recommend "Saturn's Children" by Charles Stross.The narrator of the story is a female sex robot that was intended to be a courtesan for humans.Unfortunately,by the time the story takes place,human beings have been extinct for two centuries.The novel is a description of her adventures up to the point where she (and her robot lover) go on a centuries-long interstellar voyage. It is also a condemnation of slavery,as the various robot species were set up as slaves,and essentially most still are-though to the corrupt robot aristos instead of their human creators. (Incidentally,I can't help wondering whether the aristos helped mankind to die.They're certainly ruthless enough.I also think the sterilisation of Earth and the establishment of the organic-destroying "Pink Police" were also an attempt to ensure they're never enslaved again.The narrator doesn't think so,but she's not exactly omniscent.)

The last fantasy books I finished reading were two books by Mercedes Lackey: FOUNDATION:The Collegium Chronicles and The Phoenix Endangered:Book Two of The Enduring Flame (The second one I've mentioned being a collaboration with Thomas Mallory). I enjoyed both,despite the fact that The Phoenix Endangered has the desert tribes that the deluded Wildmage Bisochim has deceived have started a war with the rest of the world,destroying the Iteru-cities (the cities at the edge of the desert) and massacring their inhabitants as the first step in a campaign to restore what those murderous lunatics call the "True Balance". (Foundation,on the other hand,is more in the traditional Lackey vein-set more than half a century after Vanyel,its the story of an abused child who becomes a Herald when the Herald's Collegium is being set up,in place of the student-mentor relationship that the heralds originally followed.There is also a mystery about his actual background,that is clearly going to be explored in the following books).
