  2. Re: 4th edition Champions pics Sweeeet!!!! Thank you thank you verrrrrry much!
  3. Hi, I was wondering if there was a website with drawings of the 4th Edition Champions, Seeker, Quantum etc.... I am thinking of running the Day of Destroyer adventure and have already converted the Champions team to 5th editon. Could anyone help me out here?

    Pulparize It!

Re: Pulparize It! You know there was a Buffy episode "The Dummy", where the tilted character mentioned that he knew a slayer once who was a torchsinger in the 30-40's, (dont remember when).
  6. Re: Pulp Lovecraft Good movie, my friend Gary, who is a big Lovecraft fan loaned it to me. Good mix of action and mystery. It's basically a film noir wherein magic appeared somewhere after WWII and everyone uses it. Everyone but Phil Lovecraft who refuses to use magic for anything. You could probably Netflix it.
  7. Hi, Just started running this adventure to re-kick start my pulp hero campaign last night. So far I have been doing pretty good with it. So I was just wondering if anyone else on these boards have played this adventure as well and how it went? So far I find myself liking it mainly because as an adventure it is more open-ended than linear. It gives you some encounters to present to the players but pretty much leaves it in the hands of the GM as to how he wants to present things.

  10. Hi, So I was going through my library of Champions stuff and I noticed my rather dog-eared Golden Age Champions book for 4th edition. So it got me to wonder if there is going to be a Champions Genre book for the Golden Age. I particularly liked the Golden age myself and I would love to see this. So am I just wishing and hoping or what?

  12. Re: Your Definition Of A Super Hero? He is still a superhero because he could decide to use his powers for personal gratification and not bother to save your plane from crashing because its not his problem. The power level of the character is not the issue here it's what you do with your special abilities that matter.
  13. Re: Campaign: Classic Champions Universe I have the 4th edition Champions converted to 5th Edition Hero. If you PM me I will gladly send them to you.
  14. Re: Character: Red Sonya of Rogatino Cool. I might try some conversions myself. I was thinking Esau Cairn myself.
  15. Re: Character: Red Sonya of Rogatino So when are you going to do Gottfried von Kamblach?
  16. Re: What if Dr. Destroyer.... I seem to remember hearing about a marvel comics story where Doctor Doom actually succeeded in taking over the world. He found out however that actually ruling the planet wasn't near as much as taking it over. He ended actually finding that managing the world was alot of boring work.
  17. Re: Group so far. Can we see some write-ups?
  18. Re: The Monster! I didn't forget because I didn't know about it. Thanks.
  19. So I have been planning on attacking my players with this villian from CKC. They haven't ran into him yet but they have discovered the remains of a botched summoning with many severed body parts to boot. So I have been wondering if anyone has used this nasty badguy before and also has anyone decided what he or it exactly is. So send me some stories, ok?
  20. Re: And we're back. V&V to HERO conversion site back up, phase one mostly done. They look good. I liked V&V until I found Champions and pretty much played that. Still, I had alot of fun with it. One little thing is that I would have liked to have seen some background material on them. This is actually what I usually look at first when I see a character sheet anyway.
  21. Re: I just bought Hero 5th Edition Revised instead of GURPS 4th Edition. I hear you man. After about a year of not running anything Hero because my last Champions got way out of hand, I went back to Hero when some of the younger college age kids from my wife's D&D store showed up on Labor excited about playing Hero after my wife told them about it. I played some Demo adventures with the Champions from the source book of the same name. Now three of them as well as my wife and another older player have all made characters and I am running a game for them in San Angelo. I AM BACK BABY!!!! YEHAWWWW!!!!!:D:D:rockon:
  22. Re: Good marvel write-ups? Try this one, it has rather high powered write-ups of the X-Men. http://the-wild-hunt.org/
  23. Re: Who should be featured next? GROND! You could have a more detailed background. You could have different Gronds, a more intelligent Grond, a less smarter one but not as dumb as the savage Grond. You could have another monster that has a similiar origin but is nastier and more intelligent but not quite as strong. You could even write-up a hot beautiful cousin that is really smart, not as strong but a better fighter who is a superhero and a lawyer. I mean nobody's ever do that before, right?
