    Should I?

Re: Should I? And if anything they created Batman, or at least a need for him. Good episode.
  2. Re: Gladiators vs Werewolves Looks like another Syfy channel classic movie

  5. Re: Inspiration: The Jobs Of Yesteryear: Obsolete Occupations This reminds me of an episode of Lois and Clark where the power goes out in metropolis. Perry White contacts on old retired employee who used to work the mimeograph machine back in the day. Because they still had the machine they were able to print the Daily Planet even though they had no power.
  6. Re: A Robert E. Howard moment..... I personally think the Howard suffered from clinical depression. Unfortunately, this kind of problem was not easily diagnosed back in the 30's. If you see the movie The Whole Wide World it touches on the fact that REH had some problems.
  7. Re: Batman meets Doc Savage I still would rather have a bottle in front of me.
  8. Re: Celebrity "Pulp" Death Match! What was so bad about the Shadow movie? I rather liked it.
  9. Re: Greatest Western Movies of all Time I just had to chime in. 3:10 to Yuma was an awesome movie. Hell, my wife liked it and she usually doesn't like westerns.
  10. Re: 6th Edition Character Sheet Just as a nit, I would have preferred that the characteristic cost had been put in the sheet so that people wouldn't have to reference them. Outside of that it looks good.
  11. Ok, I realize that this may be very early to ask this but I have already got the sixth edition generator and I am considering buying the new edition soon. I just wanted to know just how good the new sixth edition is. How good does it look to players out there. Do you think it's worth the money or not?
  12. Re: Singing Cowboy Rough draft Looks good. I have a singing cowboy in my Pulp Hero game. He's alot of fun.
  13. Re: 4th edition Champions pics Sweeeet!!!! Thank you thank you verrrrrry much!
  14. Hi, I was wondering if there was a website with drawings of the 4th Edition Champions, Seeker, Quantum etc.... I am thinking of running the Day of Destroyer adventure and have already converted the Champions team to 5th editon. Could anyone help me out here?

    Pulparize It!

Re: Pulparize It! You know there was a Buffy episode "The Dummy", where the tilted character mentioned that he knew a slayer once who was a torchsinger in the 30-40's, (dont remember when).
  17. Re: Pulp Lovecraft Good movie, my friend Gary, who is a big Lovecraft fan loaned it to me. Good mix of action and mystery. It's basically a film noir wherein magic appeared somewhere after WWII and everyone uses it. Everyone but Phil Lovecraft who refuses to use magic for anything. You could probably Netflix it.
  18. Hi, Just started running this adventure to re-kick start my pulp hero campaign last night. So far I have been doing pretty good with it. So I was just wondering if anyone else on these boards have played this adventure as well and how it went? So far I find myself liking it mainly because as an adventure it is more open-ended than linear. It gives you some encounters to present to the players but pretty much leaves it in the hands of the GM as to how he wants to present things.

  21. Hi, So I was going through my library of Champions stuff and I noticed my rather dog-eared Golden Age Champions book for 4th edition. So it got me to wonder if there is going to be a Champions Genre book for the Golden Age. I particularly liked the Golden age myself and I would love to see this. So am I just wishing and hoping or what?

  23. Re: Your Definition Of A Super Hero? He is still a superhero because he could decide to use his powers for personal gratification and not bother to save your plane from crashing because its not his problem. The power level of the character is not the issue here it's what you do with your special abilities that matter.
