  1. Here's the big rock guy and I don't mean the Thing. Obsidian wasn't all that hard although I had to drop the 4th edition tendancy to give nearly every brick chracter growth and/or density increase always on. Still I always kind of liked him because I have always been a big fan of smart bricks. Well here he is..... Luke Cage

    Re: Luke Cage Thunderfist!
  5. Re: 4th Edition Champions Seeker Gee Thanks I will be uploading the others later this week.
  6. Let's try this again. I am going to be GMing the adventure Day of the Destroyer and I thought that it might be fun, since it is a 4th edition adventure that I would use the Champions from 4th edition. So I took the Champions from the first Champions Universe book and shaved and added a few points here and there and created all six of them on 400 pts. That is 350 pts with 50 points of Exp. Here is the first on Seeker, later on I will be showcasing the rest. Luke Cage

Re: Luke Cage I think the thing with Cage wasn't the incredible strength but it was the fact that his skin was so hard that nothing except for a high powered laser could actually penetrate his skin. He would definitely have hardened defenses, maybe x2.
  11. Re: Are these old sourcebooks worth buying? Road Kill does have some nice maps though.
  12. Hi, I got a new hero player who wants to make a powered armor character who is a para/quadropeligic who uses the armor to enable mobility. He also wants a detachable arm that it outfitted with an A.I. that can leave him but still stay in contact with him. So how would you guys build this remote limb?
  13. Hello everyone, I have just recenlty discovered a group of younger people, I am 45 and they are in their early twenties or younger, and they are interested in Champions. In fact they really like the system so far and I am excited to be back in the saddle again. I have not GMed a Champions game in about a year since the last one lost direction. So anyway I have been considering using the San Angelo City of Heroes instead of the Champions Universe setting that I have been using for years. However, there are some differences in the two settings. Do you think that the two universes are compatable or not? How would you merge the two settings together? Also, could anyone please point out some San Angelo links for me? Apparrently Gold Rush games website has closed down. Thank you for your support starblaze

  16. Re: Hero System 3rd Party Products Don't forget that Atlas Games came out with two adventures for 4th Edition Hero. One about Foxbat and another about Mechanon.
  17. Re: 20s or 30s? 3) English was my college major, and thanks to a professor I could not avoid taking classes from I grew to absolutely loathe F. Scott Fitzgerald's Raoring 20's novels I feel the same way about Ernest Hemingway. I usually do the 30's since the 20's is too much like the Call of Cthuhlu for me and because I like playing Feds and punching Nazis.
  18. Re: Steve Reviews INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL I liked it. Funny, but the whole nuclear test town thing at the beginning was something I remembered from another movie. The Hills Have Eyes. I wonder if I watched the movie again would I notice a missing fridge? I thought the movie had a very definite 50's feel to it with the Mcarthyism mentaliaty and the space aliens. The ending was wonderfully understated, although you could see that Indiana was finally settling down. Oh, and Marion Ravenwood was always my favorite Indy woman.
  19. Re: THE ATLANTEAN AGE: What Do *You* Want To See? I was wondering when someone was going to mention He-Man.
  20. Re: Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow I thought that as movies go it was pretty much 'style over substance'. They put pretty special effects in it but the acting was very bland and the plot didn't really work for me.
  21. Re: Return of the blimp/zepellin You didn't by any chance travel by air around the holidays last year?
  22. So I just bought the last issue of Digital Hero and have to admit that I liked the cover art. So it got me to thinking, if the 4th edition Champions ever did meet their 5th edition counterparts which team would win? I am starting the combat with individual team members vs. each other in the first combat, then both teams fighting each other in the second round. So here goes: Seeker/Nighthawk Obsidian/Ironclad Quantum/Sapphire Defender 4th/Defender 5th Jaguar/Kinetic Solitaire/Witchcraft Let me know what you think.

Re: Pulparize It! SAW A mysterious insane genius is capturing various people who he feels do not appreciate the lives they have. He is putting them in macarbe death traps and forcing them to find a way out or die. He has never been caught but he has made one mistake.
