  1. The Big 12 should go after the two Arizona schools and Utah to get to sixteen teams. That would make sense from a travel standpoint and keep or improve some rivalries. Plus it would more than offset what they lose in basketball just to get Arizona.
  2. Luckily, I have sports and anime to carry me through. And I honestly don't think the writing could get much worse if they just grabbed up fanfic writers. They'd have been truer to the source than the hacks that handled the Tolkien and Jordan adaptations.
  3. I've never seen it used by a player, but I used it for villains all the time. I think it went away because of a change in designer philosophy. Steve Long just spent the points directly. It would be simple to brig it back for your campaign though.
  4. You could also go with Extra Limbs and Stretching with IPE on both and Does Not Cross Intervening Space on the latter. This gets into OCV issues rather quickly though. You'll need levels.
  5. Because weapons of opportunity were brought into the discussion, and expanded the scope of the original question.
  6. I would skip the time stop aspect of this entirely. Make it Selective AOE Telekinesis (Define the SFX as you need) and require a Telekinesis Skill roll to pull off the differing effects.
  7. It's covered in the movie. Apparently, Barry was a temp intern when he got his powers and got a full-time job after JL.
  8. Wonder Woman has one cameo scene in The Flash that's about as long as her role in Shazam 2. It's a humor scene with accidental contact by Batman and Flash with the Lasso of Truth. Aquaman is in the post credits scene. I'd say Aquaman and Wonder Woman are still likeable characters but we'll see if they are in the DECU's plans after Aquaman 2.
  9. Ok, just saw The Flash and it was a mixed bag. The opening action sequence is fairly nice, too bad it's mostly Batman. Flash's powers are hugely inconsistent. He needs snacks to save civilians in a dangerous situation, but this never comes up when fighting the invading Kryptonians. The "feels building" sequences are weak and even older Barry realizes younger Barry is annoying and immature, heck even young Barr realizes it. Keaton's Bruce Wayne/Batman is on point. The best parts of the movie occur once he enters the picture. The writing is fairly decent, especially around the serious parts of the film. Barry's roommates are hilarious but could have been cut without disturbing the plot whatsoever. The DC Multiverse shots are very well done. You even get to see the Nicolas Cage Superman. The ending is pretty depressing, and the post credits scene is just there for laughs. All in all, I'll give it a 2.5/5. There is a good movie in there but Miller's cringy Barry drags it down.
  10. Because allowing it in a VPP removes the need for spending points on extra forms. Creating a mimic type character would be that GM's permission use that allows a Special Power into a framework. Mimics are super versatile, but they don't get to pick any power that's not available. If you want to allow it into a framework, then be prepared to GM the League of Shapeshifters. Why wouldn't everyone spend the cost of one Fixed Slot to have one or more battle forms that lack the out of combat skills their main form possesses?
  11. Making them their own class is the same as making them Special Powers, so we agree there. And as I said, the nesting issue is debatable and probably RAI but not RAW legal. Usage of Multiform is very rare and I doubt that this was considered when it was changed in 5th.
  12. As unclevlad states, by RAW, it can be placed into a VPP or Multipower as Multiform is a Standard Power. The real question is, "Should it be?" As a GM, I say no. It's just too open to abusive builds. The only limit the rules place is that any Multiform bought this way shouldn't have a VPP or Multipower in any of the forms as those can't be nested. But that's a very strict and probably controversial interpretation of RAW. I just move Multiform back into Special Powers but I've been in a discussion that argued it should be a variant of VPP.
  13. The Mental Paralysis doesn't stop you from using your Powers against the Entangle but you can't attack anything else without breaking through the Entangle to reach it. This sounds more like a Cumulative Mind Control than a Transformation though.
  14. 50 states and only one female deity, I think I can sense a little bias in the program parameters.
  15. You are going to hell. Oh, wait, you live in Florida. Never mind.
  16. It'll actually cost more than that down the line. A 25-game suspension means that he'll be ineligible for any of the postseason awards. If he had made an All-NBA team he would have gotten an extra 39 million on his contract.
  17. Pick him up and look for trades at spots where you're weak.
  18. Remember that the OP wants to simulate a popular Shonen anime. Low powered supers are the floor here. Most of the characters can be well rounded versions of themselves at 250-300 points but if they all want to be close to the main characters then they will need more. He could start them at 200 and then give experience at a higher rate than is normal in Hero also.
  19. 400 points is high for a non-super campaign. That said, it depends on the power level you want to run at. At 8-9 DC's and 3-4 SPD, you can simulate the manga/anime pretty well at 250-300 points. Every PC will be weaker than Luffy (thank God) but they'll be as good or better than the sidekicks. If you want everyone to be at Luffy's level, then go ahead and start at 400. The key thing to remember is that every PC should be able to be the star on a rotating basis, not one star with the featured sidekick of the week.
  20. It may be true that these are private AI programs, but the volume is pretty high. The first AI-generated gallery was posted in July of last year, but there have been 2100+ galleries posted since. Some of them have upwards of 1500 pictures included ranging from pure porn to risqué erotica to everyday life. While the site's name is e-hentai, it does host a sizable collection of non-pornographic art. And some of the galleries that are mostly erotica get classified as hentai because it only takes one hentai picture (even among hundreds of safe art) to earn that classification (as it should be).
  21. AI definitely lets you generate sexy pictures. Go to e-hentai.org and use AI-generated as a search criterion. Definitely NSFW!
  22. Wet tracks are one of the things that make F1 the top tier racing circuit. They just change tires and keep going unless it's a deluge.
  23. Knowing HOA's, it was the ultimate Chaotic Good act.
