Re: OK, now I'm beginning to understand the stats a bit... I disagree slightly. Newbies can get lost on their usage versus Killing and Regular attacks. PD & ED change their meaning slightly under fire.

Re: Laughing Gas? Laughing gas would make you "SLOW". It should affect your speed, unless your physiology is radical, because you have to decide to do things, and LG slows down yourthoughts and reactions. I knowpersonally I've done a lot of LG.

Raw fighting isnt damaging it, and its radiation and energy resistant to the extreme. the Heroes need help! "Call in the Avengers" someone yells. someone else chimes back with: "Yah, but if you minus out all the Bricks and Energy Projectors from the Avengers roster, no-one's left !

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Love Children of the Marvel Universe. an evil mentalist is tampering with various supers minds. Hurricane Tana is a young air controller. Meteorite is the energy projector from Thunderbolts. Seven years ago they were on an adventure together and they can't remember how it ended. They were stopping some armored bank robbers and their memories get really fuzzy. These symptoms match the cops from earlier LCotMU episodes. Big Brother the team mentalist volunteers to help them unlock their heads. This is a real serious moment because 2 things are fresh in every players mind: 1. Zatanna, Batman, Dr.Light and all that junk from the DCU. 2. Prof.X in the X-Men movie telling Wolverine that "the mind just isnt like baggage that you unpack." So all the PCs & NPCs are gathered around, tensely and quietly watching Big Brother try to ease the memories out of their heads. The player role-played his disads perfectly, as the first sentence out of his mouth during the ESP session was this: "So, did they ever make out?" You see, Big Brother is a beginning telepath of dubious origins and was curious if the 2 heroines had tried any lesbian activites during their amnesia. and he forgot that his basic mind link was up and running with everyone.

Yeah, but did they "make out" ? Three Avengers, Jolt, Moon Knight, and Meteorite show up to claim Mandarin off to jail. Mandarin's body slumps over laughing and melts, a temporary LMD. 8 of his agents were kidnapees from the Taiwan SHIELD outpost, brainwashed. the other 8 were chinese loyalists, who revered Mandarin. Our heroes and the 3 Av. went back to the bar for a beer. They all compare notes on what they know of the serpent crown crisis. They ask Meteorite to come visit Hurricane Tana. They persuade the 2 ladies to undergo hypnosis to unlock any memories from their past, since they had both encountered hugh jones 7 years ago. Tana had been laid into hibernation because of some fear of jones' that elemental powers would be his undoing. Just after this discussion, E VERYONE's wrist-comp goes off on red-alert. Big trouble in DC. Heroes teleport there, and are greeted by the horrible sight of a 30 story tall giant lizard: SPACE GODZILLA (here, 3rd frame down) and Space Godzilla has some little freaks helping him out, or worshipping him , or looting in his path, it wasnt clear. the heroes just stared dumbfoundedly at the destruction for a minute. fortunately Arbiter's teleport had landed them out of range. PJ rescued a few hostages, and ferried people around the battlefield. he also ran Block-House up NCV to punch S-G on the noggin, but it barely phased either BH or SG Trapdoor rescued a few hostages and bystanders, and when Hurricane Tana got zorched he picked up her body off the pavement. Big Brother could not get at the tight little reptilian mind inside SG's head. Ohm and Jolt tried combining electrical attacks. but Space Godzilla don't feel much. Arbiter tried his bit and bridle spell, but SG is too smart for that animal based magic. Most of the heroes and none of the NPC's were brave enough to get within claw distance of Space Godzilla. NPC's present: Black Widow Hank Pym (Civ.ID) Firestar Mandroid Squad DC SWAT Citizen V VERBIE Hurricane Tana Meteorite Moon Knight cliff-hanger: how will they defeat this giant force of nature ?
