  1. I don't see how that affects anything but to answer: a hero will have the power and will undoubtedly use it on a villain someday.
  2. I'd like to build a Mind Control with the limitation: only to calm people down. This primarily works on people with Enraged or Berserk, although I suppose if a NPC was sufficiently irate, it could work on them. What would you put that at? -3/4, -1.5, something else?
  3. NPC's are almost never created unless needed. If it's just someone they meet for one episode, they get a name and a quick personality. If the NPC will stick around awhile, probably a few lines and some stats; it will grow as needed. Creating an episode for a Champions session takes about 2-3 days and is usually 3-4 pages; a detailed intricate episode may be 6 pages, most of it description. That kind of episode will probably start before the week to be used, giving time for me to think it through. About 20% of my episodes I create a video to go with it, hinting at the episode; those last 1-3 minutes. Also, as needed, I gather pictures to visually help the episode, particularly if the episode is outside the U.S.A. such as Paris.
  4. Heroes catch an illegal, movable gambling tent. The leader of it says, "I know it's illegal but we run a clean show." Heroes were fighting a tough villain. One of the heroes says, "I'm going to use my secret weapon - running like a coward!"
  5. Time for toothfairy to start collecting teeth...
  6. Always, always hated that Penetrating was too effective in one area. It allows Stun Damage to get through defenses, same for KA - fine. However, my group has always thought that the advantage that gives it a bonus of doing BOD damage with it, bypasses the need to buy the advantage "Does BODY". It should be rebuilt where all attacks do Stun Damage with an advantage that it does BOD damage. Our group just uses it at +1/2 for Stun Damage and never does BOD damage unless you bought the DOES BODY advantage.
  7. For a similar episode I did a long time ago, I started it off with describing each heroes secret id life that has just gotten so wonderful... but they can't seem to recall why. Eventually, the heroes in the dream realize that they are in a dream and look for an escape. A large monster guards the way, which they have to defeat. After they do, they woke up to find a villain who had them all under a sleep machine, giving them all wonderful lives to live (but they saw through it). A very short battle occurs where the heroes bash the villain unconscious.
  8. Our heroes stop a group of fire supervillains from getting into a hospital to kidnap a recovering hero. Afterwards, the hospital staff thanks the heroes and tell them, "As a reward for protecting the hospital, you can have a free colonoscopy." 🤪
  9. The closest I ever came to killing a character was when I planned to drop a small nuke on the character. (it'd be 10d6 NND KA + 30d6 Physical). The player agreed to try it, aware of the situation. When it came time, I rolled lousy and the character easily survived. (actually, I'm glad I rolled badly). The resulting presence attack by the hero for surviving was 71...
  10. And this is why I can say, No, no hero has died in the campaign I'm in. It's come close a few times but the players have become very good at protecting teammates.
  11. You got that right. Since this will seemingly endlessly go on, I say the answer to the original question is: Tacos.
  12. I've run into that too many times on these boards. This is why I'm not looking at these forums too much anymore. We can do whatever we want with our games.
  13. And yet another question: I hadn't heard of any 'Foundry module for HERO'. Soooo....what's that supposed to be?
  14. Gauntlet, as already show, there are plenty of things that could be justified to affect it. I'd say Gravity powers to narrow it down to one.
  15. Easy... hold up some catnip.... they'll come to see your point-of-view.
  16. What is the world are VTT tokens?

    Diamond Robot

I've already made up my mind, thanks.
  18. My group still uses Figured Characteristics and likes them. We've long since found ways to prevent 'cookie cutter characters' as Lonewolf said.

    Diamond Robot

Diamonds are superb conductors of heat and burns a little after 1600 degrees; it's not known for it's ability to burn. However, they are subject to being cut by a precise strike. Does anything think a DEF of 18 is too much?

I'm going to have a villain make a robot out of diamond. What DEF would you give it?
