  1. Re: Order of the Stick Oooo.. I vote for the latter
  2. Re: Order of the Stick Yes, that was quick
  3. Re: Order of the Stick Old age and treachery beats even young age and treachery it seems
  4. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I hope you grasp my material defused as it is in the stream of unfocused dogma. The mindless minions of Orthodoxy are battling the brainless slaves of nonconformity in a tumultuous conflicting clash of irrelevance but I have already mastered the inconsequentialism they so long for. The intangible benefits of my blather are opaque for all to see. Class is in season. I suggest you breed it.
  5. Re: Order of the Stick Felt like sarcasm to me, but it could go either way
  6. Re: Do random power SFX games work? To join the crowd, it really is only fun if your whole group is into it and the PCs are forewarned about it.

  8. Re: Religion and Faith Perhaps, but I think new questions about the gods would arise. Assuming the deity in question didn't just spill the beans directly and entirely, I can see his most faithful clergy looking for locations of manifestations (Was their deity 'born' anywhere in the world of men, did he shed tears that fell to the earth, etc) and trying to make connections. Theologial studies could be quite an exciting field if you end up on dungeon runs just to find where visions of the god were said to have been granted. Then there's also the option that the gods might not draw their strength from faith, but if you are using a system where each god has a porfolio (God of War, Goddess of Love, etc) then maybe their speciality feeds them far more than faith ever could. A god of war might really feel his oats on a battlefield, and proverbial Goddess of Love might get a happy buzz when her priests prevent the local Romeo and Juliet from dying too soon. etc.
  9. Re: Order of the Stick So glad a new one is up. This series is so entertaining, it is hard to be patient
  10. Re: Superheroes to Keep, Superheroes to Lose I guess I'm an odd duck Champions wise. I will make homages to many official characters, but I don't try to write up the actual Marvel/DC characters. At this point, I think I've done a homage to almost every character I can think of in one way or another. Heck, I've even done parodies of characters I don't like.
  11. Re: Musings on Random Musings If you don't mind me saying, your wife sounds like an amazing woman. I tip my proverbial hat to her. G_d bless
  12. Re: Musings on Random Musings Wow. You've got my sympathies. I'm not professionally involved so it doesn't compare accurately, but I do feel for you. I see so many self styled "Christians" speak disparagingly of the poor instead of helping them (I'm not exactly serving at soup kitchens, but I don't trash them either), wanting revenge instead of justice (Let alone mercy) and generally acting in ways that seem to go against the teachings of Jesus, all the while claiming to follow him. If I had to judge my faith by its practioners over its truths I'd probably go screaming into a different belief system (Or none at all) just to get away from them. But I'm not ready to surrender my faith/religion over to the ignorant, arrogant, or hateful just yet. Don't let them get you down. As for a new job and writing, good luck to you and keep us posted.
  13. Re: EPIC CITY! (Campaign Art & Collateral Material) Fantastic art, as usual
  14. Re: CU: Roi'Nesh I rather like the Roin'esh. If I ever get the chance as a player, I may make on for my character. Escaped slave of an alien race that sees humans as a future enemy (And going by GC, they'll be right) finds himself as a hero of humanity? Yeah, that would be cool
  15. Re: Day Of The Turkey 2011 Doctor Sanguine is a mystic, "what is this, some fowl magic? " No doubt the team he is on would split into threes, Team One fighting the turkey directly, Team Two rescuing innocents, and Team three seeking out the crazed creator!
  16. Re: Order of the Stick Darn it... Tarq needs to be faster on those spoiler alerts!
  17. Re: Power Armor Characteristic Purchase No worries. It is an easy mistake to make if you aren't used to it.
  18. Re: Champions Villains Volume Three: Solo Villains when will it be on the shelf? Well, no kidding "The year 1994" has long passed
  19. Re: Order of the Stick Ok, that was laugh out loud funny
  20. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Not sure if this has been shared before, but this is a blend of Batman and Hurt that worked REALLY well imo.
  21. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? The animated Green Lantern pilot on Cartoon Network. I had doubts about the reboot style stuff, but it grew on me fast and the story was VERY good. Seriously, if they'd taken the plot and writing for that and put it in the GL liveaction movie, it would have done much better I'm thinking.
  22. Re: 11 Victoria's Secret models hit the catwalk as superheroines Some of these aren't that bad.
  23. Re: Order of the Stick Good work, Belkar!
