Well, that mightbe fun. Havent done PBP in years.

Living Close enough to San Francisco, that my local Apple Store got looted by a flash mob, this hits a little close to home, literally. Sgt. S.M.A.S.H has no appropriate weapons against shoplifters and looters unless he recieves a weapons free order, such as after a large natural disaster. Felix 9 Would probably use a violent presence attack to scare them off, and if that fails, start shooting them.\ Thunderbird would probably frop a 16/16 Force field around high ns;ir items or use the forcefield to block exits until the cops show up. Dream thunder would drop 10F6 entalillusions on the looters, and keep them confused as to where the exits were and bottle them up until the cops showed up. Executioner would just shoot them. (Punisher Expy) Mega Lord would probably just pinnch the exits shut until the cops showed up. There are some peculiarities in current California law, that theft of items of less than $900 value are a misdemeanor. Couple that with progressive District Attourneys, preaching the doctrine of "restorative Justice", means that most of those the police round up will be released.

I have terrible math anxiety to the point of being math-tarded, so I would put wish list of powers and abilities and hand them off the the GM to finish. Only when heromakr.exe came out didi a Build my own characters. I stll make firly simplistic builds.

Borrow mine: Sorcerer One. Ambitious Sorcerer, wants to work for the people in charge, and get a large salary, and a cushy life. Has a silent servant, that is modified undeat, that has a living, highly venomous snake living in the skull. The undead is basically a gold plated skeleton wearing padded clothes, to give him some bulk. The skeleton carries an electrical charge, but the skull is insulated. Trying to pick pocket or stab the skeleton will result in a 2D6HKA Damage Shield versus Energy Defense. The Servant can fight, usually with a spear, or a shortsword. but is "Uninspired" in terms of technique and tactics. Due to the sorcerer's poor social skills, he is rejected from any job, by those in power, and wishes to retaliate, by having his servant bite certain targets as revenge. He lives in a house that is heavily trapped (to protect his valuables). THe presence of a living snake will confuse a detect undead spell. The Sorcerer has a high dex and a high Int, but is otherwise Heroic average, but a bit more athletic than expected. He just has one servant, and a few hirelings aound his house, but that's it. The Sorcerer's spell list is focused on Lightning and electrical spells. Confronting him during a thunderstorm would be unadvisable. Sorcerer Two: THis Sorcerer grew up hating the company of other people, and preferred the company of animals. In their studies they discovered how to change the bodies of animals into more capable forms, similar to those of men. He found a ruined castle in the wilderness and repaired iw using minion labor and bases his operations out of it. Surrounded by an army or Beast men (mostly canines, and a few ursines), he has resorted to banditry to supply the resources he needs to feed his army, and collect the materials he needs for further research. He wilol back up his troops with explosive spells similar to artillery. He also can turn into an animal to escape. The animal will be situation dependent.

I was always leery about allowing "Non-Danger-worthy" characters in Fantasy Hero games. There was a type of player we would run into in the Bay Area on occasion that would play a "wacky character" as a way to grab attention, and would skew the tone of the game. Some of those players would moderate their behavior after the rest of the group objected to their previous antics. Then they would play characters that were useful but weak, requiring security provided by the other characters (and therefore attention). It got to the point where I would reject "whimsical" characters out of hand. DNPC's were not "Adventurers" in my view. This did mean my FH games were a bit serious and grim, but they ran smoothly.

24 hours from satellite in a warehouse to satellite in a stable, useful orbit is a very impressive achievement.

Boy, you folks like to overthink. It could be as simple as a race of monsters that eat human flesh. We really don’t like having anyone above us on the food chain. You can keep the relationships simpler.

This is fantasy, not comics code comics. This is where characters are using earlier frames of reference. Just be sure to read the room correctly
