  1. Re: Would you allow this power I would also ask why he would choose to leave the armor. I don't see why there would be a problem letting someone else carry around then shrunken armor. There is no rule against it. I dodn't see them being able to use it in any useful way, other than (hopefully) getting it back to his shrunken teammate in one piece. Grimble

    Aliens

Re: Aliens I have a Superhero in my game who is actually an energy being from another set of multiverses( Or Omniverse). He used to be an immensely powerful entity. He was somehow "defeated" and banished to this physical universe. He has a body of pure energy (humanoid shape) and can take human form for up to one hour. He has been in this reallity for only a month or so. He would be willing to give an interview. Treat him as clueless when it comes to anything about pop culture. In fact, if it doesn't have to do with physics, nuclear physics, subatomic physics or mathematics, he's clueless. He has become a suprehero because he is facinated with the ammounts of super-powered beings on this planet and wants to interact with them more closely. Heroes seem to have more patience with him. 6. Re: Would you allow this power I'd allow it, as long as you still need the suit to grow back to normal size. Why would I not allow a character to shrink down to 1-2 inches tall and then leave his armor and weapons systems behind to go do stuff? Don't worry. Nothing would happen to the suit...Really. What could possibly happen to the suit while you're away from it. Grimble
  7. Re: ARGENT Super Villians How about Armada or Ankylosaur. I'm sure both would join just for upkeep and upgrades on their powered armored suits. Grimble
  8. Re: Thanks from a GM I, too would like to thank everyone for their help and input. These forums rock! I hope I help others as much as I'm helped. This is a very valuable resource. Grimble

    Morphic Man

I have Ultimate Skills,Ultimate Mentalist, Ultimate Brick, Ultimate Speedster and the Hero System Equipment guide...unfortunately, I need to build a Stretchy guy. I don't have Ultimate Metamorph. I'm sure I can build a straight forward Stretchy Guy character without it. The books do have some really cool tricks, though. Can people with the book toss me a few moves and tricks? I will be buying the book down the road. I just want to see if I can get a few cool stretching tricks for a chacter I'm building now. Grimble PS I'm also thinking of giving Morphic Man some limited shapeshifting abilities.
  11. Re: Twilight 2007 Campaign. I've played a few Twighlight 2000 games at Cons, post 2k. I like the fact that it is more of an alternate history game now. Great idea to bring it to the present. I love the timeline. It is a little scary that this COULD happen. Grimble
  12. Re: Sister Bliss Check out the Teleportation powers in the Ultimate Speedster. There are several powers that work the way you want. "Float Like a Teleporter,Sting Like a Be" Opens mini-gates. one in front of the target and one in front of himself. Allows him to punch targets from a distance. Bought as Stretching, does not cross intervening space, no NC stretching, no velocity bonus. US page 146 "Reach Tunnel" does the same thing under the Dimensional Powers in US page 111 Since both of these powers are bought as stretching, they can be used to punch, pick things up or place them. You might want to take one of these in a multipower with 2 slots. 1 for normal 8-10" Stretching. 2 add megascale 1"=1km. If you go the megascale route, I'd suggest taking the "Dimensional Window" power on page 114of US. Bought as clairsentience, so you can see what you're doing. Grimble
  13. Re: Chariot of the God of Taxi drivers By the way. The extra movement powers are bought on top of a normal (al be it, a tricked out) Check Taxi Cab.
  14. Re: Chariot of the God of Taxi drivers That is a good idea, but I like the fact that the cab will look out of place in a lot of places. When he took an alien PC to her home planet to pick up some spare equipment, his Checker style cab caused much interest and confusion. He didn't react to any of the resident aliens. Just sat in the cab, smoking a stogie and reading a magazine, waiting for the PC for the return trip (Luckily, she asked him to wait). I see it as the kind of displacement fun Dr.Who writers have with the TARDIS in police box form all the time. Grimble

  16. Re: The Hero Forum's Hottest Woman in Comics. I can't believe I'm the first to vote for her!? My vote goes to Jean Grey. Grimble
  17. Re: Victorian Champions: Extrapolated Consequences A very good question. It would be very hard to say how an alternate present would turn out from a radically altered point over 100 years earlier. If I were to run a campaign starting in Victorian Champions, I'd take it in steps towards the present. The Great War would be very different, but eerily similar. Same trench warfare, but there would most likely be human-made armored tripods and early mecha. Varieties of altered Martian gas. Heat rays. I think I'd add early computers by now. You get the picture. World War II would be Gernsbachian. Transmittable power. Jets and flivers and hover vehicles. Death Rays and other energy weopons. All sorts of tech spanning many tech levels... This is assuming that the Earths nations didn't work together better after finding a common unearthly enemy. Space travel would accellerate quickly after the Martians attack. I'm sure there would be a race to see who could be the first to deliver a supply of earthly viruses to Mars to elliminate the threat. I'm hard pressed to give a view of the "present" of that world. So many things could go much differently. Grimble
  18. Re: AK: Everywhere Thanks for all the help, folks! Much appreciated. Grimble
  19. Re: Chariot of the God of Taxi drivers Good enough. I'll buy it with +1/4 advantage Safe Blind ExtraDimensional Movement.

  22. Re: News Of The World Delays I'll pick it up as soon as it hits the shelves. Grimble
  23. Re: Chariot of the God of Taxi drivers I am going to give him Universal AK. On his sheet it is written as Universal Taxi Driver 35-. He pretty much would know the destination. Targeting, hmm. I'll have to add transdimensional. What about just adding a +1/2 advantage Safe ExtraD Movement. Like teleportation. Grimble
  24. Re: Chariot of the God of Taxi drivers I'm thinking the most efficient buy would be 45pts of Extra-Dimensional: Any physical location in any dimension. Seems to work the best for what I'm after and the special effect of weird images out the windows in the transition between locations. I'm also giving the cab a transdimensional radio. What else would you put in the taxi of a god? I mean, besides a beaded seat cover for the drivers seat. Grimble
