    I'm quite fond of the "additional note on cheating from an English professor" at the bottom of the page. It's so true, especially at the high school level. Do students think we really can't tell the difference between something written by a professional in the field and something written by a student who's never had the subject before?

    I have a student who thinks I'm the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal. As long as she doesn't make eye contact, she thinks I can't see her copying answers from the key while we're correcting homework in class.

    My disdain for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is, of course, well documented. All told, I can't help but feel like the Colts dodged a bullet there. Sure, it sucks for the team short-term, and the embarrassment is going to sting for a while, but the last thing the Colts need is a coach who will do to that franchise what he did to Denver.
