  1. Re: "Your girlfriend works for VIPER!" Huh?
  2. Re: WWYCD: Harem Comedy from Hell Since Darkstar is a very male character I would need the answer to the following question . . . What is each of the women's . . . (degree of "sex appeal") - (amount of material in her normal "costume")?
  3. Re: Star Trek: Dominion War Aftermath and effects? I disagree. Everything was better in "TOS"! And, most importantly . . . http://www.supermegatopia.com/gallery/gallery.php?thisLink=doomed.jpg
  4. Re: [Review] The Turakian Age My only disappointment, and it is a minor one a that, is that I would have liked cultural package deals for each of the Human cultures.
  5. Re: WWYCD: A Damsel Who Doesn't Want To Be Rescued... So did I, but Lucius's "Imposter" idea is one that I had not thought of.
  6. Re: WWYCD: A Damsel Who Doesn't Want To Be Rescued... Reading that article made my skin crawl . . . (I get that most comic writers/artists are not feminists, but what Marvel did to Carol Danvers is offensive and it was done with the blessing of the Comics Code to boot.)
  7. Re: Is the Fantasy Hero book still in print? You have been slain by Groo! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groo_the_Wanderer)

  9. Re: Star Frontiers (Well, d20 Future did a revamp of the setting . . . )

  11. Re: What a drag! Gives more Rep.
  12. Re: What a drag! Well, while stretching would be the most correct power for this, as a GM I would have had no problem with your character being lifted and dragged along. It is certainly within the spirit of both the special effect and the genre.
  13. Re: The Coolest Superhero Costumes For some reason, I keep wanting to clasify Iron Man/Tony Stark as a "super villian" not a here.
  14. Re: Best Published Superhero Adventure? I am going to have to go with Day Of The Destroyer (Scott Bennie), but it is a tough call - Since I don't yet have Shades Of Black.
  15. Re: Divine Portfolios Help requested. Well, for some realy great "portfolios" I would suggest contacting Playdiety for some back issue scrolls.
  16. Re: Invisibility, No Fringe, Requires Squid
  17. Re: Who Is... Your Favorite Villain? I am going to have to go with Black Paladin (Conquerors, Killers, and Crooks p. 126) He has the qualities to be a good leader for a team of Mystic Villians, without being overly powerful himself. Also I find his backstory a good source for scenario ideas. The pathos of his own "lost love," the mythic ties to Camalot, and his anti-Christian beliefs. And, as a GM, I find Witchcraft's quote a good insiration for role-playing him. "Maybe his evil grows, in part, from a frustrated desire to be better then the role circumstances cast him in."
  18. Re: HEROic Werewolves (not WoD) Where? Where Wolf? (Sorry, couldn't help myself. )
  19. Re: Sanctuary.....Anyone Use It ? Actually, a Super Hero "Club Med" could work (And that would be conflict enough when different heroes bring their national rivalries to the club.) It is only when you start allowing wanted criminals, would be world-conquerers, and such Villians to attend that the idea starts breaking down.
  20. Re: Sanctuary.....Anyone Use It ? Except . . . As someone pointed out, "Heroes" are the individuals more likely to be a problem here. Many of them are too dedicated to crimefighting and/or patrotic to be willing to tolerate a haven for "criminals and murderers." And, they would not be the only problem either. Another would the national armies of the major powers. Unless Sanctuary has standing as an independent nation (and the national allies to back it up), nothing would stop the major powers from invading (with their superheroes leading the charge to counter the villians likely to be present) and shutting the place down. (Sometimes even being a recognized nation isn't enough - ask Hussein or Noriega)
  21. Re: Sanctuary.....Anyone Use It ?
  22. Re: Sanctuary.....Anyone Use It ? I have always been against the idea. Most heroes and villians are too "motivated" by their own passions to be able to encounter each other peacefully. For example: "Villian A" has strong hatred of "Hero B." Part of the reason he is a villian in the first place is that he has trouble obeying laws, so the bylaws of a "Neutral Ground" would be a most an inconvenience. His hate would trump any desire to remain in good standing. Counterwise, "Hero B" upon seeing "Villian C" recognized her as wanted under international law. Upon getting no cooperation from the "authorities" at Sanctuary, he would likely return home and start using his pull with the World's Govenments to shut this "haven for criminals and murderers" down.
  23. Re: WWYCD: To Bee or not to Bee? I would be much more concerned if it was a complete unknown. The idea that at established Super Villian has penitrated my Secret ID, would actually be less scary (but still worrisome enough . . .) I would quietly discuss the matter with the more intelligent/subtle of my teammates. Especially if one, or more, of them is to be the victim of the theft. This would have the following benifits, despite the risk: I could identify if one of my teammates is in fact the traitor. (Including myself - if I have secretly gone insane or I was "tampered with.") It would help me develope and deploy a counter plan - both to save the Bee and to identify and trap the villian.
  24. Re: [character review] Pidge As I said with your previous characters, she needs more background. Also, with her 18 Comeliness, does that apply to Humans?
