Adventus
In the spirit of the threads from Bloodstone and CrosshairCollie, here's another on a much-loved character type - the Fighter. The rules from the other threads are working well, so let's follow that and have just one entry per post please. Armor is your friend. Wear the best that you can

Susano
Re: What I learned playing a fighter... As an SCA fighter of 12+ years, here's what I learned. Block, always block. Make sure you have a good shield. Make sure your swords and other weapons have your strength level in mind. Keep moving. It sets up openings. Wear armor that fits. Your helmet is your friend. Don't make me put up cross-dressing photos of him... Besides, you haven't played Brave Fencer Musashiden or Samurai Legend Musahi, have you? Ive got a bare-bones FH heroine with a fairly improbable sword herself...

Susano
Re: What I learned playing a fighter... Don't make me put up cross-dressing photos of him... Dunno... I saw some pretty hot looking Sephiroths played by females (and Vashes, and Nicolas D Wolfwood in a mini-skirt, and....). Females playing as many male anime characters often look hot (esp. if they genderize the clothing). Men cosplaying as female characters often makes me want to hurl. Besides, you haven't played Brave Fencer Musashiden or Samurai Legend Musahi, have you? Ive got a bare-bones FH heroine with a fairly improbable sword herself... Uhm... no. Pics? War Cry
Re: What I learned playing a fighter... First blood is not as important as last blood. Use your surroundings to your advantage and your enemies disadvantage. There's no such thing as a fair fight. Make sure you're the one that made it that way. Never underestimate the power of a 5 foot stick with a sharp pointy end. The mage and healer are your best friends. Keep them that way. If it means giving up a little bit of your own loot - do it. The kindness you show them today will save your life tommorrow.
