In other news, the Vikings just traded their first-rounder (#17) and two third-rounders to the Chiefs for Jared Allen. Great pass rusher. Who dropped in the draft originally due to character concerns and already has two DUI convictions, meaning he's one violation away from a one-year suspension. WTF? And even more WTF? Sure, the Vikes need a pass rusher badly, but doesn't this guy carry huge buckets full of risk? The team has holes all over the places, and really needed picks. No way in hell I would have made that trade. The good news is, as a Bucs fan, it means the Bucs aren't going to do anything stupid trade-wise to try to get Allen, as they were interested.
