Bacchus - Roman god of wine, wild parties, and unconstrained frenzied violence.

He always goes in the nude and, while clearly male, is still sort of androgynous. He carries a wand called a thyrsus, wound with Ivy and dripping with honey. While he has the typical godly nigh-invulnerability and strength, he really shines as the teams VPP and Multipower guy, using shapeshift and madness induction, among others.  His main goal is the destruction of inhibitions, in forcing off the civilized constraints of the modern world and fomenting raw passion.

His left arm is withered and skeletal.  Some say that 2000 years ago he was taking a nap in the guise of a fruitless fig tree (for Bacchus was often associated with figs), when he was cursed and nearly destroyed by some wandering holy man from Nazereth, and some say that this has tuned his ambitions toward revenge as well.   And after all . . . humility?  Forgiveness? Brotherly love? Aren't those all just constraints?  No, not today.  Let your true selves out.  Let the Bacchanalia begin!

Leonus was once a lion, head of his pride on the savannah.  One day, a group of wandering tribesmen killed all but him.  Consumed with hate, he cursed them and vowed revenge.   Months followed, killing and devouring many of the tribe whom he found alone.

One day he went after an elder, who turned out to be the clan's resident medicine man.  The medicine man with his dying breath cursed Leonus, turning him into a creature that wasnt quite lion or human, but humanoid hybrid of the 2.  Unable to be accepted ever again among the ranks of his kind, and with an added side effect of no longer aging.  He has lived for hundreds of years, continously searching for descendents of that tribe, now scattered throughout the world to devour.  Though, he hates them in particular, he isnt too fond or other humans, though he has been able in the past to ally with certain outcasts of society to further his own desires.

While being "humanoid".  He still bears the claws, and fangs, and the strength of a lion. (as well as the facial features and mane).  He often goes cloaked and hooded within the human world.  Over hundreds of years he has picked up many a handy "human" skill to improve his chances of furthering his quest.

Good lord ! 5 in a day ? Popular.

The Gourmand

The best food and drink is what this villain is after. He is alleged to have had people kidnapped in order to cook for him or prepare cocktails. He is wealthy and he provides the others with transport and a place or places to live. He is always on the look out for that new taste experience or some new delicacy like panda, baby blue whale or the tears of a hero/heroine after they have failed on a mission. He also indulges in the odd bit of blackmail in order to get others to do the tedious work of fighting heroes or stealing money after all he has new taste sensations to discover and enjoy.

New Group:

Name: The Shadow Court of Hate

Members: 4 or 6

Premise: Queen Nightmarea has in her dimension The Court of Hate, a group of brainwashed magical girls to serve her. To conquer Earth, and to get 'food', she gives magical 'false' Godstones to eather 4 or 6 earth teen-age girls. They all have 'Lady (dark emotion)' as a name, and can not be Lady Sorrow, Lady Anger, Lady Pain, Lady Fear, or Lady Hate. They hunt Lady Heart and The Court of Dreams, and help feed Queen Nightmarea.

Note: The number is 4 or 6 because of Japanese superstition about thoes numbers. 4 can also be read as 'death', while 6 can also be read as 'pain'.

Perhaps a bit overly constrained, but to start us off...

Lady Schadenfreude  was once known as Antje Drossen, nicknamed "the girl in seat 3E" for her forgettability.  She passed largely unnoticed in school and elsewhere, which suited her just fine, as it allowed her to play cruel pranks on people without ever being suspected.  Her Falsestone gives her the ability to inflict Unluck in a growing radius around her and absorb energy from those suffering pain or misfortune in that radius to feed to Queen Nightmare.  She seldom attacks directly, preferring to lure her opponents to dangerous areas such as construction sites or swamps and letting unnature take its course.  Lady Schadenfreude's greatest weakness is a tendency to "twist the knife", going one step too far in order to increase a victim's suffering and thereby leaving herself open to attack.

Lady Gloom

One of life's perennial pessimists, Sarah Walsh never seemed to see the good side of anything. The glass was half empty and anyway it did not have anything she wanted to drink. Her falsestone allows her to suck the joy out of anythong and make everyone feel as miserable as she. It also allows her to project darkness. She knows that it will all end badly but what else can she do ? Someone has to be the miseryguts.

Lady Snark seems like a nice girl on the surface.  Glory-Beth Travers is well-liked by her teachers and classmates and people have a tendency to (over)share their secrets to her...giving her the perfect ammunition to mentally manipulate others and letting them attack and snipe each other with a well-placed cutting remark.  As an added weapon, her teeth are sharper than normal, but she hasn't had the opportunity to test those out...yet.

Unbeknownst to the others, indeed, unbeknownst to the Queen herself, Glory-Beth's brainwashing isn't as strong as the rest of the ladies due to her own mental defenses.  She has ambitions to usurp power and control from Queen Nightmarea, once she gains enough information and strength herself.

Ann Doe is Lady Ennui.  Her life before she joined the Court is unknown as she's never been motivated enough to talk about it.  Her Falsestone allows her to spread a complete lack of motivation and boredom with everything.  The other members of the team have to nag her into using the power, and she is usually carried around the battlefield by a summoned monster as she doesn't like exerting herself.  (It may come as a surprise to heroes to learn she is fully capable of walking and even running on her own.)

Four is Death, so time for a new team!

The Unholy Days are a loose group of villains who are themed around various holidays and yearly events (Arbor Day, Grandparents' Day, Professionals Day, etc.)   They're pretty low-powered, so they have to gang up to be effective against even the weakest hero teams.  Membership is fluid, but right now they have seven members.

The April Fool.

This guy seems to think it is April 1st every friggin day.   He has a plethora of gadgets to pull his pranks.  Which he inevitable uses to "punk" heroes, for the giggles.  Many superheroes really want to beat the **** out of this guy.  But, for some reason he seems to have a body that absorbs most of the beating.  Which accompanied with his laughter and their futile punches, makes them even more infuriated.

Shadow Maker   (for Groundhog's Day)

dresses just like that guy who brings out poor Phil every Feb. 2.  He can reverse time within a small area back a few seconds (this requires massive amounts of energy, so he will only use in dire circumstances).  And he has a limited amount of control over shadow.

He also may have a hunted.  That of a furry underground dweller with rage issues.

Edit: Groundhog Man just didnt seem right for a name.

Excuse me Mr President !

This villain appears as a US President like Lincoln and he then starts to batter people. Even as Franklin D Roosevelt who runs people down in a wheelchair or batters with a walking stick. His defenses are about martial arts standard but he has an advantage that most Americans won't punch someone dressed as a past President. What he is after is anyone's guess but he will punch anyone.

Blackface (Black History Month)

Moe Cornelius didn't set out to create the what many to be the most offensive villain ever, he merely wanted to pay tribute to Black History Month. Unfortunately, he's a very white young man who thinks the greatest names in Black History include Clubber Lang, Shaft, and Mr. Bojangles. He wears blackface makeup and speaks in exaggerated modes of speech that alternate between Amos and Andy and the jive talkers from Airplane! He turned to crime because his passion was misunderstood, which he actually takes great pride in now claiming he understands the black man's burden. Also to be cool.

Firecracker (Independence Day) a young woman with pyrotechnics based powers (a la Sparkler from Enemies III) she has showy and rather dangerous abilities but is a defensive lightweight.

Secret ID: Margaret "Maggie" Finnigan

Powers: Pyrotechnic based energy projection (flash and linked KA or EB)

Motivation: Viva La Revolution. Maggie thinks that America has been run into the ground by the status quo and she fights for the freedoms of all American People! Additionally, she steals things that strike her fancy and pretty much believes she's morally untouchable. She's a fringe Libertarian with a touch of kleptomania, jingoism, and exhibitionism.

Costume is a patriotic mish-mash of fetish wear, red, white, and black.

SweetiePie (Sweetest's Day)

An insane baker, SweetiePie never found the love that she thought she deserved.  Valentine's Day was bad enough, but the crass commercialism of Sweetest's Day was obviously a plot solely to mock and deride HER!  Her super strength is fueled by chocolate, the darker the better!  As for her weakness, it's honey...something she fiercely avoids, especially bee theme heroes.

Reminds me of the Spidey Super Stories villain who dressed as Napoleon so she could hide the boxing glove she used to punch random people using the classic pose.

And that's seven, go for it Cygnia!
