Starlord
One game is a joke, that was the dirtiest cheap shot I've seen since Albert Haynesworth stepped on a man's unprotected head. Player safety, player safety, player safety....yeah right. Michael Hopcroft
Old Man
What's funny is that the only penalty that counted on that play was the one where a Bills defender made a verbal comment to a ref.
Old Man
Live by the cheap shot, die by the cheap shot, Mr. Burfict. edit: So basically this game was hard to watch; it really seemed as though every defender was leading with the helmet, there were horrific cheap shots against Burfict and Brown, and I didn't even see the Shazier injury. If the NFL went ahead and suspended the defenses of both teams as well as Juju, I'd be okay with that.
Pariah
It'll be interesting to see how JuJu's suspension/fine compares to Gronk's, and who says what about it.
Enforcer84
So Eli was benched for one game? Then coach got fired? His streak ended for what?

Seems to me that the coach needs to be thrown under a bus instead. I am unable to find an appropriate run-over-by-bus animation with which to celebrate my foresight. Adding the tossed-under-unwieldy-public-transport status for the GM is just gravy.

megaplayboy
Vikings have 2(out of 4) challenging games left in their season--Panthers and Packers--before the playoffs, and own the tiebreaker against the Eagles. If they win out, they get a bye week, home field throughout the playoffs.... ...and would play at home in the Super Bowl. Would be the first time that's ever happened, I believe. Niners played in the Bay area....waaay back in olden times...? It was pretty close if that doesn't count though.
Pariah
The Niners played in Palo Alto, as I recall. Close, but not their home stadium. No NFL team has ever played a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Cancer
Show me another NFL team site item using the phrase "Galilean transformation". Love ya, Neil. EDIT: Sadly, the official rules seem to define what's a forward pass strictly in the stadium frame, not the player frame. So much for relativistic physics. pinecone and Pariah

Old Man
As usual the Browns' move mystifies everyone; Brown has been instrumental in loading up the roster with young talent and draft picks. His only possible miss is skipping over Deshaun Watson, and honestly Watson's metrics were piss poor going into the draft.
Enforcer84
wasn't he the guy responsible for the trade deadline kerfluffle? Also the browns didn't get a whole lot of usable talent from the draft. Picks yes, talent, didn't really show up. At least according to what I've read. Logan D. Hurricanes
On the bright side, they passed on Wentz and the coach will be back.
Old Man
Is there a reason to be anti-Wentz? I note that Wentz was basically allowed to fail for most of last season. That can't happen with the Browns, who yank their newly drafted QBs after a few weeks and then wonder why they keep drafting QBs who never get the hang of it. Pariah
Logan D. Hurricanes
I was being sarcastic. There's no reason to be anti-Wentz that I know of. But this is also the team that draft Billy Manziel because the owner had a crush on him.
