lemming
Interesting. An ad for one of the mainy anti-depressents just went by. Immediatly followed by a "Pot causes death" ad.
Bazza
this thread has a lot of legs. who knew people wanted to muse so much?
Vondy
I've been hanging out on the harnforum a lot lately. I think I find midieval crop rotation more interesting than partisan politics.
lemming
Whoa. Doing a clean up at home and came across a picture of me with my mom from 1982. I think I was just about full height, but was probably still under 200 lbs. Damn skinny.
Tim
I thought a lot of you would find this cute. http://home.wanadoo.nl/annekebroenink/maukie2.swf edit: You need to move your mouse around.
Rachel
It would be nice if some people didn't post things with the express purpose of starting arguments and flame wars. If you're that dissatisfied with the country, go out and do something about it instead of smugly, self-righteously and confrontationally pointing fingers while sitting in your parents' basement. Sad thing is, people will respond to the troll.

Vondy
I find the reading the non-gaming discussion boards strikingly similar to reading Camus.
Old Man
So I was checking out the ingredients list on my can of shaving cream. Water, stearic acid, triethanolamine, sodium lauryl sulfate, nonoxynol-9... nonoxynol-9?

Bazza
Error Error Dr. Anomaly -- quoteing of musings if forbiden due to Old Man's initial post. Those go in the musing about musing thread. lemming
Work sucks again. And you would think at Intel, I could get a working mouse.
Guest joen00b
I was thinking today.... If a HUGE earthquake came along and dropped California into the Ocean, who would film all the Made For TV movies about the catastrophe that would most certainly follow? lemming
You would think that after being answered three times in English, the Spanish speaker would stop calling my cell phone. I have now turned off the phone after 20 calls. (I stopped answering at five) At least I think it's spanish, though saying what I think was "I don't understand Spanish" didn't seem to work

BlackSword
The Perfect Bite Today I was snacking on lunch and came upon a single bite that was the perfect medley of ingredients such that it was extraordinarily good. Unfortunataly, by the next bite it was back to the same blandness I am used to. While great to have a taste senstation, its a bit frustrating when eating to find that perfect mix of ingredients for only a single bite, while the rest of the meal does not compare. Hermit
I hate it when folks are in a bad mood. It makes having my own bad mood as the center of attention very difficult
Kara Zor-El
Reading over a certain thread, I see that there are people who shouldn't be teachers. And if that person ever comes within 100 yards of any of my children, Rachel will be the last thing he has to worry about.
Hermit
I begin to suspect the writers for ST: tNG hated Counselor Troi , at least for the first two seasons.

Solomon
At last, holiday season is almost over. It's the hardest and most stressful season of the year for me. I'm going to get myself a few well-deserved days off.

Old Man
Some days I can smell the insides of my nostrils. The weirdness of it doesn't bother me, but what does is that it's not really a good odor.
BlackSword
You know its going to be a long day when you sit down, turn on the computer, and then pull your upper back and neck muscles getting that first sip of coffee. Only eight more hours of trying to keep my head in a perfect position to avoid muscle pains.
zornwil
It's blizzard-like outside (and we're not used to that here) but for some reason our company was pretty adamant yesterday about people trying to get in, unusually adamant considering they're usually so lax. So I suspect we'll still have a good number of people around today, even though it is clearly already a quieter day than the norm. So here I sit. I figure I'll leave sometime early afternoon if it keeps up as expected, by then it'll be freezing rain or sleet (although if it stays just a couple degrees lower than the expected high at 32 degrees it'll be still snowing, and a LOT of snow if it doesn't change over). I don't want to deal with leaving here at 4 or 5 PM and fighting my way through much-delayed/messed up public transportation.
