Well depending on where they're standing, the hero could shoot a wall or something similar and the debris kicked up is what causes the flash.

Fwiw, I would allow a flash against a villain with lenses. The flinch reaction is very strong and primal instinct.

First I gotta say when I saw the tittle of Doughboy, I thought of The Blob (from X men) type powers. The alien twist in the background I thought was imaginative. A plot I think you could use him for would be to enlist the aid of modern heroes to attack the Cleave directly. He could have a slot titled Your in the Army: mental command must follow the doughboy. Oh and have you considered other people from earth company? And what time they might have came from?

Oh what I should have listed is that Powerhouse has 10pts of Density Increase and 15pts of growth

My bad on the DCV. I dont know what I was looking at. I think I got confused with KB which I assume then that follows the same as mass?

Hello Herophiles! I got a quick question dealing with Powerhouse and other similar builds. If you have two powers such as growth and density increase on at the same time,how did you calculate the total increase of mass and negative DCV? Did they just add together? Did you use the highest values? Or as in mass did they multiply each other? Thanks in advance

Our groups problem with pulling a punch is that by RAW there is a penalty associated with it. So you try to be heroic and take penalty? I would suggest of just elliminating the penalty altogether that would encourge pulling punches.

In hero beastry 4th had the ostrich' s kick bought as a HKA cause their kicks are so strong. I think too that the chimp had a HKA cause they can rip your limbs off.

I like the idea of a making the jawbone distictive. Perhaps it works like the cetsus whereas the hka is linked as a seperate attack.

Shadowsoul that was sorta of the idea I mentioned upthread with DCV and str min. Perhaps if you have enough STR you can justuse the shields DCV bonus as OCV for blocking.

Tcabril onething thst seems wonky is buying things such as tires OAF but thst is due game mechanics. By buying an object OAF, the object's DEF doesn't benefit from the vehicles DEF. I.e. if an armored car has 10 DEF and the tires are OAF, then you go by the tires nstural DEF (2) vs. the cars 10 DEF. Also by defining an object as OAF, then it I'd easier to hit in combat.

Fwiw-I was thinking that the counter strike would be in an art like sword/shield style. Where you block with shield and cause of your advantage get to really whack your opponent.

What about counter strike? But stimpulate that you must use the shield when blocking?

One advantge of having more detailed stats would be for heroic level characters whereas even 1 DCV can make a big difference. Especially if said DCV bonus is tied to a STR min.

Clinging with damage shield was proscribed to do the tar body effect. So I think that would be a place to start.

Would be neat to see more asian shields. The only one mentioned (the tortise shield for karate) has no stats (at leaast for 5th ed uma)

If this is the same mind worm from Doctor Who, then don't forget a damage shield - mind control "completely forgot last hour of memory" lim. "Must have skin to skin contact"

I like this and a failed roll could be a wrong answer. Not nessecerly a lie but the spirit is confused.

Off the top of my head, I think systema is a grappling base style so I would look at jujitsu
