Re: Barring weaponry, what's in a slightly futuristic [30+ years] APC? someone previously mentioned (projection) holograms. I would just like to point out that to have projection holograms we would need to have either a volumetric display screen (like a fog) or discover some as yes undiscovered physics.

Re: Space fightercraft in RPGs. n space, range is primarily controlled by accuracy. projectiles/beans are only as accurate as its launching vehicle is steady. Missiles can only correct it's trajectory as long as it has fuel. once it runs out, it becomes a projectile.

Re: Vehicle Martial Art One thing you may need to consider, is that the pilot may not be the one in charge of the shields. I would have a Piloting Martial Art, rather than a 'Vehicle Martial Art'

Re: Extra Dimensional Sanctuary I thought it might be an idea, that if the crystal form gets damaged - instead of getting hurt (which doesn't make it much of a sanctuary) it makes it difficult for you to leave the dimension

Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it... I finished I will compare it with other Vorkosigan novels. Not his worse, but I think that she used a young boy as one of her protagonists was a bit distancing, making it feel a bit too much like a childrens' novel. Otherwise it was good as usual. -

Re: Vehicle Martial Art anyone (including a vehicle) who recieves Teleport via a 'Usable By Others" can teleport themselves and anything they are wearing, any implants, any food eaten etc. I believe this will allow a spaceship to teleport it's passenegrs and cargo.
