I would actually start by picking up Fantasy Flight Games' Redline Horizon book ... it's all Mad Max and a bit more ... plus it'd be super easy to transfer to Hero.

CU style: Nighthawk forms his own team I think he'd form a group of misfits that consist of a modern samurai weilding a magic sword, a european noble that has some good strength and earth powers, an element based shape-shifter, a teacher with a real electrical personality, a super-model with gaze-based mental powers ... oh and the cute kid that has some weird, alien powers depending on what color she is ... Hello? Mike Baron? Who the heck ... it is? You gotta be kidding me .. really? Huh ... On a serious note, I would give him a "Marvel Knights"/Batsquad based group ...

Personally, I don't have a problem with this. I have both religious heroes and villains in my universe ... some mainstream, some alternative ... some majorly fringe

How about the Foxbatites? Splicers who've attempted to create themselves in the image (though mmajorly skewed) of Foxbat himself?

Personally ... I'd love to see The Titans, Warriors, Power Pack and Outsiders replicated in the CU I'd also love to see Superboy, Green Arrow, Spider-Man, Captain Marv-el, Black Widow and Jakeem Thunder played with On a related note, we had a Superman cloned named Champion (based after a a fig and iconic 3rd ed illustration) ... he was fun

Nighthawk's okay I've changed the character a lot though ... made him more like "Batman meets The Shroud and Cloak" Here's an image of what he looks like in my game. BTW ... does anyone know where I can see a pic of Nightwind? I never got WotD and would love to see him

I would give it to Billy hands down ... has anyone seen the last issue of Batman/Superman? How about Kingdom Come? Mar-vell would give him a race ... but at one point, Billy has to get setbacked and turn into the kid and, as Mar-vell approaches him, he screams "SHAZAM!" and nukes Nega-Bands Nelly to Kingdom Come

For fantasy games, I typically use the following: LotR (both the animated and movie versions) Conan Starship Troopers D&D Soundtrack (both the movie and the Midnight Syndicate stuff) Meditations on Middle Earth Music Inspired by Tolkien (can't remember the actual title atm .. but that's the tag line) Legend (The Score) Princess Bride Pirates of the Carribean Star Wars Series (especially Duel of the Fates) Gladiator Harry Potter Series

Hunter, What I would suggest is a character that can sense the sin level of their victims (Detect: Sin) and has max human physical stats. Maybe give him the "Evil thoughts" sense like the Shadow (Low Telepathy - only to sense "evil" thoughts) and maybe a few other mental powers (Penance stare? +30 PRE, only attack, Only Gaze?). I'd also give him some armor and maybe a weapon or martial art

You know ... it'd be cool to see Dennis Mallonee make a Guardians sourcebook for Champions that includes people like good ole GG and the gang Too bad it'd never happen

I think a better fight would be Wonder Man vs. Superboy ... media vs. media on pay per view withall the proceeds going to charity

Hey there, So I'm working on some stuff for a fantasy game and I was thinking of allowing mages access to VPPs ... but I'd like them to be able to keep a book of their spells OOC ... in other words, they have to have the spell listed in their own notebook (with a breakdown of what it does) if they intend on using it. Would you consider this a limitation for the VPP Control Cost? If so, what would you give it? I was thinking something along the lines of: 30 pt. Magic VPP (Must have spells listed in spellbook, -1/2) 45/40 What does Herodom think?
