HeroGM got a reaction from Ndreare in Hero Games 2022 Update
Hi, I'm Worf, a Klingon warrior. Let me prove how tough the alien of the week is by being stomped into the bulkhead
  2. Thanks

I've kept the old ones as a zip file on a Google drive just in case, you never know how Java will update and f**k things up. 99% of the time there isn't an issue though.

I've yet to have a problem with anything, old or new. There are newer ways of doing things that make the old ones...obsolete(?) (such as the way you can do templates vs putting everything in prefabs), but the program reads it all the same.

The last update was March of this year and I'd have to see what the differences are.

Ridd1e, aka Riki LeCotey, is one of my favorite cosplayers and I've posted pictures of her before. For several years now she has been working for the Marvel Movies in Costuming/Wardrobe. She is also working on the Ms. Marvel show. Because of her background they asked if she'd like to wear some of her stuff as an extra for AvengerCon in episode One.

HeroGM got a reaction from Duke Bushido in How do you treat VPP's AP in regards to a Campaign Limit?
Personally I let people go as high as they can afford. Look at Green Lantern. I can see the Power Ring having a VPP with some per-defined powers, plus the ability to come up with things on the fly with a good Power: Green Lantern Ring roll. The powers themselves couldn't go over the AP of the campaign and he'd be limited how many AP he has total. If I wanted a 'one power at a time only' I'd use Multipower with all the slots set at Ultra.

Might be cheaper and easier to simply buy enough movement for a 2 SPD and put a limitation on the movement only up to 66MPH.  Gaining a high SPD if your character was not built for it can create problem with other aspects of the character.  For one thing your END usage probably goes through the roof.

If you want to get more precise purchase the movement as a partially limited power.  So, you would end up with +x movement, then +x movement only for if you have y SPD, then some extra movement if you have y-1 SPD, then some extra movement if you have y-2 SPD and so on. This may actually be slightly easier in play because you would know how much movement each SPD would have.

The other thing to consider is that you can only change SPD when both SPD have an action.  This often means that you cannot change SPD in combat, or it gets delayed.

I'd make it Side Effects of the Armor depending on if this is a found/cursed item or what.

    1. You have HD set to remember the size and position of dialogs (the default preference setting)

    2. You have positioned the Skill dialog off of the current screen (likely on a different system/setup)

Delete the appPrefs.xml file and start HD again.

Someone suggested this on Twitter/YouTube. It's a site where you can look up Tanks/Aircraft/Naval Ships/Weapons etc by Era as well as by weapon I believe. Probably usable for Western and Pulp Hero along with Deark Champions. It boasts 5,500 entries.

    a) Give your episodes titles?
    For my own records, yes

    b) Do you give origins to all your villains?
Yes, I have a detailed background and personality in my head, sometimes written up for them

    c) Are your important NPCs statted out?
Very few, unless I expect them to go into combat.

    d) Do you go above and beyond the duty with special props for any of your games?
Other than something to represent them on the map and art, no.

    e) anything else?
All those campaign helper papers in the back of Champions III?  I use them all.  Years later looking them over is very useful and rewarding.  I fill out a calendar for when events happen and what I have planned for later.  I start each session with a news report, including stuff that happened in the previous game (from the perspective of the news), hints for future games, and just fun stuff.

For the skill roll, I like the idea of using the god as a Contact. Narosia used this and had rules for casting, and I like the logic of it. It gives a different feel than an INT or EGO-based skill roll. Using a skill roll feels more like a wizard thing, and a Contact feels more like a cleric.

Generally change environment is not supposed to be used to give benefits, only drawbacks.  I tend to shrug at that rule, but that is the official word.

But AE skill level increase and naked advantage Half END Cost would do the trick easy enough.
