  1. I wouldn't worry too much about the limits besides intervening space since logically the speedster should be able to reach the destination at the same time as well. I am flabbergasted that I didn't already work this out as a 60ap VPP slot for my rookie Flash. It's a mass dive for cover! I just don't have a good laptop or working right hand to check the build options in HD right now.
  2. I have always liked that the real world weapon builds have always had damage ranges that matched up rather well with the variable dice side # method used by D&D and therefore is a great way to use heroic rule settings like Fantasy HERO and Danger International to teach the basic combat mechanism of HERO to players that have only played that other system without worrying about the powers system.
  3. The movie Jaws just had the police chief and one officer for the island.
  4. Added details to my earlier post. 25d6-31d6 should be enough. https://youtu.be/WKGoFJba1RE
  5. Take a look at the speedster martial arts and infinite mass punch inside the VPP on this character for ideas. From: https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?795840-HERO6E-My-rookie-JLA-builds&p=20707008#post20707008 0 24) Infinite Mass Punch: Hand-To-Hand Attack +12d6 (60 Active Points); Hand-To-Hand Attack (-1/4) Real Cost: 40 [Notes: 16d6 with STR. 20d6 combined with Sacrifice Strike. Practical* Maximum Damage = 25d6 when combined with Passing Strike or Passing Throw and 90m Maximum combat move. Move Through Maximum Damage = 31d6 that he would also take a minimum of Half Damage (or Full Damage if target takes no Knockback).] - END=6
  6. That really depends on how detailed the characters are and how much math you want to show under the hood to potentially new players. There are several different varieties already in the download section and some made with the intent of hiding as much of the build math as possible. I like the full detail html ones the best because I tend to make super detailed characters.
  7. Before reinventing the wheel I would take a look at this thread and the website linked in the first post. http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96693-kountry-komics-request-for-help/ I've done starting Clark and Barry but they are pretty complex builds to show to potential new players. https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?795840-HERO6E-My-rookie-JLA-builds&p=20707008&highlight=Superman#post20707008
  8. You may want to get some of the 5e books that never got full conversions to 6e before the economy slowdown. The vehicles are a good example. POD 6e Skills is basically the same as 5e Ultimate Skill. Either are good buys. Dark Champions has a few things/rules not in the Equipment Guide. Good Luck and don't hesitate to ask questions.
  9. Something else I wanted to mention that I keep forgetting. I cannot begin to imagine how anyone could get through something like this without help from family and friends. My mom has been my rock. I don't know what I would do without her.
  10. I've also stopped the cancer pills and will start a monthly immunotherapy infusion once I can safely stop the steroids. They just have higher likelihood of side effects than the pills did. Blood clots are one of the common side effects of melanoma cancer.
  11. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I am already back home with mom. The pressure from the blood clot seemed to be the cause of right hand & arm issues. They have me on perkoset, Keppra for seizures and steroids for swelling. They are also going to setup home health care (PT & OT) to help with using arm. They gave me a brace to wear at night to keep it from curling up and already have noticed a small improvement. I was able to hold a spoon in right hand to eat cereal, a first in weeks. Anyway, sorry for the flood of details but those who know me understand that's how my brain usually works. Dave
  12. I'm back in the hospital again. The last year had seen slow progress with the melanoma cancer in my brain and body. 3 types of radiation treatments and oral pills. Last month's followup MRI and PET scans showed improvement in all areas. 2-3 weeks ago I started gradually losing control/dexterity of my right arm and hand again. I thought and hoped it was a pinched nerve in my back so went for a massage last Thursday. No change so oncologist scheduled new MRI for Monday. It found one spot grew from 7mm to 35mm so they did surgery on Tuesday. Looks like most was a blood clot. Gotta learn how to use my right hand again. And yes, I am right handed. Fun fun fun. 13. You mean Dr. Destroyer is a munchkin?
  14. I thought that only his bones were encased, not ligaments and other connective tissue. I have an old comic with wolverine fighting spider and they both acknowledge that spider could stop him but only by snapping his neck.
  15. What rules do you use? Can you cite a page number?
  16. From 6e2 page 74: Combined Attack Using two or more powers or similar abilities (but not Combat/Martial Maneuvers or the like) once against a single target isn’t a Multiple Attack. It’s a Combined Attack, and counts as type of Strike. Therefore it has no OCV penalty, doesn’t halve the attacker’s DCV, and doesn’t take a Full Phase to perform. (Using two such powers multiple times against a single target, or against multiple targets, is a Multiple Attack and subject to all Multiple Attack rules.)
  17. Adamantlum wouldn't have helped much since the FOXverse allowed it to pierce itself when in bullet form.
  18. You are describing the Linked Limitation.
  19. It was also in 5er and called Multiple-Power Attack on page 358.
