  1. Re: Cool characters from goofy concepts My understanding is that it was meant to be a theatrical release, and when it fell through, the same folks put together a Tarzan movie for Derek instead.

  3. Re: Cool characters from goofy concepts Much of Casablanca's '70s roster was in the disco/dance/glam vein, and Dazzler's look certainly fit into that.
  4. Re: Wish List: Other Licensed Content I assumed Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser.
  5. Re: New Kickstarter for Sentinels of the Multiverse expansion Already over 200% funded with nearly a month to go. Looks like it has quite a fan base. I've got no gaming group at the moment, though.
  6. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? There's a Kickstarter for a documentary that claims to tell the true story behind this. It evidently involves Jack Kirby. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/scifilandmovie/science-fiction-land-a-stranger-than-fiction-doc?ref=users

  15. Re: DC/Marvel Characters in Your Campaign I never used existing supers in the games that I ran. One GM I had did, though. We teamed up with Spider-Man for a case because "that's what new heroes do". To his great credit, he structured the adventure so we didn't feel like we were support players.
  16. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread My best friend and his missus came into town for a few days. It was great to hang out with them again.
  17. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Mary Tyler Durden Show. Looper Grant.
  18. Re: Marvel Legacies Doc Strange was in Terra Obscura. The Tom Strange character seems to have been adapted from him.
  19. Re: [New Product] Champions Complete DOJ. Day Of Judgement. We should have known.

  24. Re: Announcement: The Monster Hunter International RPG! Hard to say how that will work out. The Werewolf game is doing very well. Robin D. Laws has recently started a drive that's gotten a lot of attention. There seems to be new tabletop RPG kickstarters every week. MH is still progressing pledge-wise though, so that's a good sign.
